This is just unprofessional – Nicki Minaj was scheduled to do the 2011 midnight countdown at Miami’s Mansion night club this weekend, but when “something happened” and she got delayed, it became clear that she wasn’t going to make it for the all-important moment. Â So what did the management at the club do?
They got the DJ to change the time on the countdown clock, causing the countdown to happen at six minutes after midnight. Â Apparently most people didn’t notice the discrepancy, but it’s still kind of lame when your only job is to be somewhere on time so you can count backwards to a particular moment, and you can’t even get that right. Â I bet they paid Minaj a pretty penny for that botched service, too.
