ABC News correspondent Bianna Golodryga announced on Good Morning America Tuesday she is engaged to Obama administration budget director Peter Orszag. The couple met in May at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner.

Bianna Golodryga said jokingly on Good Morning America that her new husband-to-be is “tall, dark and he could say Golodryga and spell it after our first date. That is a winner in my book.”

Orszag reportedly popped the question at a romantic lunch at Sarabeth’s restaurant in New York City on Monday.

Before signing on to work with the Obama administration as director of the Office of Management and Budget, Orszag worked as the director of the Congressional Budget Office. He was also an economic adviser under the Clinton White House. Orszag has two children from a previous marriage.

The couple is reportedly planning a wedding in October.
