The America’s Got Talent 2012 results are in from round two of the semifinals! Who are the America’s Got Talent 2012 winners of this round who will be moving on to the finals? Join us for our America’s Got Talent 2012 live recap and see if your favorites made the Top 6!

This post contains America’s Got Talent 2012 spoilers from round two of the semifinals. Please do not keep reading if you do not want to know what happened!

On America’s Got Talent 2012 tonight, fans will finally find out which of the remaining semifinalists will be moving on to the Top 6. Who will be joining Earth Harp instrumentalist William Close, comedian Tom Cotter, and sand painter Joe Castillo in the next round? Well, I know I have my favorites I am hoping will get through, but it’s hard to know how America will vote.

Although America’s Got Talent 2012 judge Sharon Osbourne is absolutely in love with both the male clogging group All That! and the animal act Olate Dogs, I’m not really fond of other. It isn’t that they are bad performers, they just aren’t what I would consider a million dollar Vegas act. However, I think both acts do stand a good chance of getting through tonight.

The acts I would really like to see move on are Lightwire Theater and David Garibaldi & His CMYK’s. Both acts are truly unique and different, and I am fascinated watching them in action. As for the third act to be chosen on the America’s Got Talent 2012 results show tonight, I’m really just not that invested in any of the remaining acts enough to care if they get through or not. There just isn’t any ‘wow’ factor in the rest of the performers for me.

So who will make the America’s Got Talent 2012 Top 6? Let’s get on with our live recap and find out!

The first acts up on stage tonight to face America’s vote are All That!, Shanice and Maurice Hayes, and Lightwire Theater. The decision has been made and… yay! Lightwire Theater, one of my favorites from this set of semifinalists, is through to the finals.

Next up we have comedian Jacob Willians, Sebastian ‘El Charro De Oro’ , and David Garibaldi and His CYMK’s. Happily, once again America has chosen another of my favorite acts to move on to the finals. The act voted through is… David Garibaldi and his CYMK’s!

We have a break from the results from the semifinals as the “Snapple Cameo” winner is announced. The winning act is comedy illusionist Nathan Burke. Congrats!

Now we have a break for a guest performance by Haunted by Heroes, the ‘world’s youngst rock band’. The best part is having Twisted Sister‘s Dee Snider come on to sing “We’re Not Gonna Take It.” Ah, that brings back memories…

Finally, we are on to more results. The next set of acts to learn their fate are Clint Carvalho, All Wheel Sports, and Olate Dogs. I can already see where this is going. America, like Sharon Osbourne, just can’t get enough of the cute puppies… Olate Dogs has been voted through.

Now up we have The Magic of Puck, the Untouchables, and singer Tim Hockenberry. I was thinking Tim might have the advantage out of the three of these, but it looks like the Untouchables have won the day. The top four acts are: the Untouchables, David Garibaldi and His CMYK’s, Olate Dogs, and Lightwire Theater.

Before we find out who will be going through to the finals, we have another guest performance, this time by Train playing “Drive By” from their new album.

At last, we come to the final results to learn who will be going through to the Top 6 in the finals!

The first act chosen to move through to the America’s Got Talent 2012 finals is… the Untouchables. Wow, I’m already bummed out because I’m betting one of my favorites is not going to get through now.

The second act selected to move on is… Olate Dogs. Well damn, yep, that means either David Garibaldi and his CMYK’s is going home, or Lightwire Theater is out. The America’s Got Talent 2012 judges will have to choose which act they want to go through…

The judges’ decision is in. Sharon votes for Lightwire Theater. Howie Mandell hates to choose because both are great, but he votes for David Garibaldi. Howard Stern is the tiebreaker and he votes for… David Garibaldi.

The three acts going on to the Top 6 in the finals are: Olate Dogs, the Untouchables, and David Garibaldi and his CMYk’s!

  1. I’m a bit upset that Livewire Theater didn’t make it through
to the finals. One of my favorite acts I’ve enjoyed this season and now I won’t
be able to watch them anymore. I love the Olate Dogs, but I don’t think I can
watch too much more of them doing back flips and other things. Americas Got
Talent’s one of my favorite shows on during primetime and I never miss an
episode. The Hopper will automatically record all the PrimeTime Anytime shows. Dish
has stepped things up a bit offering the Auto Hop feature to skip commercials.
The day after my PrimeTime shows air I’ll have the option to watch or to skip
commercials with the touch of a button. I work for Dish and I’m glad my
coworker showed me this feature, which my family and I can use to save time fast
forwarding commercials and killing the remote batteries.
