Ashton Kutcher stars as Steve Jobs in jOBS, new clip below. A biopic of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs starring Ashton Kutcher is set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend, then open in theaters on April 19. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film’s opening date in theaters was chosen to mark Apple’s 37th anniversary.
However, as 9 to 5 Mac reports, the actual date of the anniversary is April 1. Either way, the film will pay a respectful tribute. The movie, titled jOBS, also stars Josh Gad from NBC’s 1600 Penn as Apple’s other co-founder, Steve Wozniak. The movie will chronicle “the defining 30 years” of Jobs’ life, according to a description from producers.
