American Idol contestant Michael Lynche lucked out big time last night when the judges decided to use their precious ‘save’ to keep him from being voted off the show. We’re glad Big Mike didn’t bite it, but we can’t help but wonder why the hell he was nearly cut in the first place?

Dancing With the Stars diva Kate Gosselin will be returning to TLC with a new reality show. The new series, Twist of Kate, will begin airing 12 episodes this summer. The whole idea of Kate Gosselin stretching out her long expired 15 minutes of fame yet again puts a nasty twist in our stomach.

Tiger Woods’ alleged mistress list just keeps on growing. The latest addition to the count comes courtesy of the National Enquirer, which claims Tiger Woods had an affair with 21-year-old neighbor Raychel Coudriet. Coudriet, now 22, was reportedly furious when she learned about Woods’ many alleged affairs with other women.

The performances on American Idol last night were rather surprisingly good overall, a nice change from the abysmal mess most of the contestants seem to be from week to week. Once again, Crystal Bowersox was our favorite of the night, giving a sexy, quirky groove to her version of “Come Together.”

Funny man Jim Carrey and longtime girlfriend Jenny McCarthy have split up after five years together. The break up was announced by both McCarthy and Carrey via their Twitter feeds and Carrey’s rep confirmed the split in a press statement.

Sadly, it was not former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin who got the boot this week on Dancing With the Stars. Instead, it was astronaut Buzz Aldrin who was eliminated in week 3 of the competition. While Aldrin wasn’t much of a dancer, we’ll still miss the witty old guy and his adorable partner Ashly Costa.

Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock has finally spoken publicly regarding rumors arising from husband Jesse James’ alleged affairs. Although Bullock did not specifically address James’ alleged cheating, she did go on the record to say there is no Sandra Bullock sex tape lurking out there to bite her in the ass.

Jon Gosselin apparently thinks his ex-wife Kate Gosselin is spending too much time on her Dancing With the Stars gig and not enough with their kids. The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star is reportedly preparing to ask a judge to grant him primary custody of their children.

If you’ve heard the rumor that Sandra Bullock is pregnant and there is a video out there showing off her baby bump, don’t fall for it. Former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan has filed a lawsuit against show creator Marc Cherry for alleged assault and wrongful termination. Sheridan claims Cherry had her killed off on Desperate Housewives after she lodged a complaint against him with ABC for hitting her.
