Bobby Brown‘s sister, Leolah Brown, claims Ray J is responsible for providing Whitney Houston with the cocaine that helped kill her. The Los Angeles Coroner’s office announced Thursday that Whitney Houston died of an accidental drowning, but that cocaine use and heart disease contributed to her death.

In an appearance on Dr. Drew, Leolah Brown claims she saw Houston’s longtime friend and companion Ray J leaving the singer’s hotel room on the day she died. “I saw Ray J coming out of the hotel, hiding his head, being pushed into the car,” she told Drew. “Why? I looked and I said, ‘why is he hiding his face?’ He’s always trying to show his face when he’s around Whitney. Why now? Why are you trying to hide now Ray J?”

Leolah Brown, who is the sister of Houston’s ex-husband Bobby Brown, also said Ray J was never the singer’s boyfriend, as has been widely rumored in the media. Instead, Brown claims Ray J was Houston’s “runner boy” and drug supplier.

Whitney Houston’s autopsy report showed notable levels of cocaine metabolites in her system when she died, which reportedly indicated she was a chronic user. However, cocaine was not found in Whitney Houston’s room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel when police were investigating the death.
