The week 3 Dancing With the Stars 2012 All Stars elimination results are here! Once again the lowest scoring couple of the evening on Monday was Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas. However, despite DWTS All Stars predictions that they may be going home tonight, I’m not counting them out just yet. Who will be the celebrity contestants voted off Dancing With the Stars All Stars in week 3’s double elimination? Join us for our DWTS 2012 All Stars recap and watch the action live with us!
WARNING: DANCING WITH THE STARS: ALL STARS SPOILERS AHEAD!
This post contains DWTS: All Stars spoilers for the week 3 elimination results. Please stop reading here if you do not want to know what happens!
Last night on Dancing With the Stars All Stars, Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas found themselves on the bottom again after receiving the lowest score of the evening from the judges. Although all the judges said it was their best dance of the season so far, the couple still ended up last on the leaderboard. Even though they’ve been one of the weakest teams on DWTS All Stars, somehow Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas manage to squeak through every week based on the viewer’s votes.
Will the voters save them again this week? It is a possibility considering they were not even in jeopardy last week despite having the lowest scores. Still, it would be kind of a surprise if they somehow escape being voted out in the double elimination this week. Even more so after the little bitch fight Palin had with her partner. That just kind of sours the whole image of the happy, determined duo going against the odds.
Also in danger tonight once again tonight are Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who only scored a bit higher than Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas for their routine last night. They tied with Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya for the second lowest scores of the evening. I am going to make a personal prediction that Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya will be one of the two teams eliminated on Dancing With the Stars All Stars this week. I think Kirstie Alley’s fan base is good for keeping her from going home for at least one more week, especially after her very entertaining routine last night. Considering how fickle the voters are though, it really is anyone’s guess at this stage of the competition. A DWTS double elimination in week 3 is just too hard to predict.
To start off the show tonight, judge Len Goodman says he wants to see Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough‘s amazing Quickstep from last night again. It really was quite a fabulous routine and I’m happy to see it again.
The first dancers to learn their fates tonight are Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani, Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd, Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke. The duo in jeopardy from this group turns out to be, no big surprise here, Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Now we have a break for a performance by Kyle Massey and Lacey Shcwimmer with the dance troupe to Frankie Moreno singing.
The next set of results are coming in now. Up on the block are Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff, Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya, Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough. No surprise here either as Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya are now in jeopardy.
Now we have our first elimination announced and the couple that will be going home is… Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya!
To fill up some time before we get to the second elimination, we get to watch as the dancers choose next week’s dance styles for each other.
- Bristol and Mark choose ‘Bollywood’ for Gilles and Peta.
- Kirstie and Maks choose ‘Disco’ for Sabrina and Louis.
- Helio and Chelsie choose ‘Mambo’ for Shawn and Derek.
- Kelly and Val choose ‘Bolero’ for Emmitt and Cheryl.
- Melissa and Tony choose ‘Hip Hop’ for Apolo and Karina.
- Apolo and Karina choose ‘Jitterbug’ for Melissa and Tony.
- Emmit and Cherly choose ‘Contemporary’ for Kelly and Val.
- Shawn and Derek choose ‘Broadway’ for Helio and Chelise.
- Sabrina and Louis choose ‘Charleston’ for Kirstie and Maks.
- Bristol and Mark end up with ‘Rock N Roll’ by default.
Now we have another performance by Harlem dancer Josh Johnson. Josh attends Penn State University and pays for his tuiton by dancing on subway trains. Very cool.
And here comes another performance by a pair of singers by the name of Carmen. Not terrible but I just want to know the next elimination results already!
Here we go! The final results are in! The last couples up to find out how the votes went down are Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel, Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas, and Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower. Amazingly, even after having the lowest scores last night and being on the bottom of the leaderboard again, Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas are safe!
The second couple who is eliminated from Dancing With the Stars All Stars tonight is…
Helio Castronoves and Chelsie Hightower!
