Dancing With the Stars 2012 week 5 rankings are in! Did the favorites from last week manage to impress the judges this week around? Who totally bombed in Monday night’s Latin dance performances? Who does the current DWTS 2012 standings say should be voted off Dancing With the Stars on Tuesday night? Read on to find out!

This week on Dancing With the Stars 2012 was all about Latin dances. The remaining DWTS 2012 cast celebrities had to get down and sexy with sambas, tangos and salsas. For some of them, it proved to be the perfect style of dance, while others floundered with the sultry steps and fell flat.

WARNING: DANCING WITH THE STARS 2012 SPOILERS AHEAD

So how did the DWTS 2012 contestants stack up this week in the judge’s yes? Here are the scores from Monday night:

1. Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas: 29 (tie)
1. William Levy and Cheryl Burke: 29 (tie)
 2. Maria Menounos and Derek Hough: 27 (tie)
 2. Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd: 27 (tie)
 3. Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower: 26
 4. Jaleel White and Kym Johnson: 24
 5. Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus: 22
 6. Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 21
 7. Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff: 19

With those scores that adds up to an overall ranking for the Dancing With the Stars 2012 contestants of:

1. Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas: 134 total points
3. William Levy and Cheryl Burke: 128 total points
 2. (tie) Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower: 126 total points
 3. (tie) Maria Menounos and Derek Hough: 126 total points
 5. Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd: 125 total points
 6. Jaleel White and Kym Johnson: 119 total points
 8. Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus: 108 total points
 8. (tie) Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 107 total points
 7. (tie) Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff: 107 total points

With the scores from tonight and the total scores looking the way they do, I would say the best Dancing With the Stars prediction for elimination on Tuesday night would be Gavin DeGraw and Karina Simirnoff, or possibly Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy if they don’t get a bit of sympathy voting for Gilbert’s injury. However, you really can’t predict anything for certain after seeing what the voters did to Sherri Shepherd last week out of the blue, so you never know exactly what will happen on the DWTS 2012 elimination results show!
