Bones star David Boreanaz and wife Jamie Bergman welcomed a new baby girl to the family on Monday. Bardot Vita Boreanaz is the couple’s second child. They also have a 7-year-old son, Jaden Rayne.
David Boreanaz is reportedly relieved at that mother and child are healthy and doing well. Wife Jaime Bergman was put on bed rest during the last stages of her pregnancy and Boreanaz was afraid to be further away than a “20-mile radius” for fear she would go into labor.
Baby Bardot Vita Boreanaz weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz when she arrived into the world on Monday. Boreanaz and wife told People they are “beyond excited” about the new addition because they’ve been trying to have another child for several years.
The new season of Bones premieres on Sept. 17.
