One of the 171 photos released Thursday by investigators shows a slight opening in the brush — and what appears to be a hard-cover book.
On a day filled with developments in the case of missing toddler Caylee Marie Anthony, including news that the man who discovered human remains last week called in the same tip three times in August, a single photograph brought forth as many questions as it answered.
Did investigators searching a wooded area for skeletal remains possibly also find a book that Caylee liked to read?
One of the 171 photos released Thursday by investigators shows a slight opening in the brush, and what appears to be a hard-cover book. To some observers, that object appears similar to a book that Caylee is seen reading on a video made by her grandparents, the last visual evidence of the toddler before she was reported missing in July.
Sheriff’s Capt. Angelo Nieves said he had not seen the crime-scene photos and could not comment on their content. He said he would not ask investigators about the photo.
Forensic results from tests done on the remains are expected to be released at any time.

A parent is suppose to love, protect, take care of their children. What kind of monster would do this to their own flesh and blood? This is too sickening to comprehend!

Honestly i dont even want to imagine wat caylee went through the day it happened. She must have been wodering y the person that should b protecting her was instead harming her. I hope God forgives her for wat shes done cause i know i woulnt. Right now shes enjoyin bein in jail ordering snacks etc but i cant wait till she gets a taste of prison i bet is nothing like the jail. I dont mean to be hateful but caycee deserves justice

i truelly do believe that Caylee deserves justice, she should rest in peace. and her mother and who ever else who helped in this murder needs TO GO TO HELL,BURN AND ROT. Casey has no heart, and no sense that she was born with. for a person who you love(or did she) and suppose to care for, (or did she) why would you tourture your flesh and blood? thats sick and revolting. well she is putting on a good show to make us out here BELIEVE that she actually cares. HA HA HA!! try harder b/c I DONT BELIEVE YOU CASEY. why would you bare a child if you cant take the responsibilities? GROW THE HELL UP, CUZ HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOUL. I HOPE THAT THEY GIVE YOU THE DEATH PENALTY, AND THEY NEED TO BRING THE CHAIR BACK JUST FOR YOU!!!
