Dr. Phil Sued by Former Patient for Alleged Abuse

A former patient of TV therapist Dr. Phil McGraw is suing the good doctor for alleged emotional and physical abuse. Shirley Dieu claims Dr. Phil touched her breast and forced her to be in a room with a “completely naked live man.”

In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday, former patient Shirley Dieu claims Dr. Phil groped her breast and made her be in the same room with a nude man “while he exposed his entire naked body, genitals and all.” Dieu also alleges Dr. Phil held her captive and “was blocked by the staff to prevent her from leaving.”

Shirley Dieu, 56, claims in court documents of the lawsuit that Dr. Phil abused her by depriving her of sleep and food and attempted to “brainwash” her. She has also challenged whether Dr. Phil was legally licensed to practice in the state of California when he was treating her.

No word yet on how much money the woman is trying to milk from Dr. Phil over her alleged abuse claims.  We’re doubting Miss Dieu is going to get far with her lawsuit, considering she is acting as her own attorney and reportedly has a past history of wacky lawsuits. But we give her a prize for one of the weirdest lawsuits against a celebrity so far this year.

  1. ‘…in a room with a “completely naked live man.”’

Would she still be suing if he was a naked dead man?
