Fleetwood Mac Tour Officially Announced to Launch In April

Following a slew of rumors about an upcoming reunion, a new Fleetwood Mac tour has finally been officially announced. The Fleetwood Mac tour for 2013 will launch in April with dates across North America. The band plans to extend the tour worldwide if “everything goes well,” according to lead singer Stevie Nicks.

“It’s the perfect time to go back out,” Stevie Nicks told Rolling Stone in announcing the new Fleetwood Mac tour. “2013 is going to be the year of Fleetwood Mac.”

Rehearsals for the new Fleetwood Mac tour will begin in February and the set list for the upcoming tour could possibly include a few new tunes. We actually have two new Fleetwood Mac songs that I cut with Lindsey two weeks ago we might play,” Stevie Nicks told Rolling Stone.

So far only Fleetwood Mac tour dates in North America have been announced, but the band plans on going worldwide with the show.

“If everything goes will we’ll be in Europe doing festivals this summer,” Stevie Nicks told Rolling Stone. “Then we’ll actually tour Europe, which is different than just doing festivals. Then we might do fifteen or so shows in Australia.”
