Holy Crap, George Michael, Stay Out Of Public Bathrooms!

You think George Michael would have learned by now that if he goes into a public bathroom, the law is gonna follow. Not that it’s right, but come ON. This time, George didn’t get popped for trying to score some booty. No, this time George got popped with pot and crack. Apparently public toilets are nicer in the UK than in the US, ‘cuz they have bathroom attendants! The UK Sun says one of them tipped-off the law after George was seen “loitering in underground loos” in London’s Hampstead Heath on Friday.

Underground loos? Maybe they aren’t as nice after all. I digress. Cops said: “We can confirm that a 45-year-old man was arrested on September 19 on suspicion of possession of drugs in the Hampstead Heath area. He was taken to a north London police station where he received a caution for possession of class A and class C drugs.” “A caution” obviously has a different meaning in the UK than it does here. You MIGHT get “a caution” for running a stop sign here. Crazy Brits! I don’t even think Amy Winehouse has gotten “a caution”, although if she did, she’d roll it up and smoke it.

When officers arrived the the former Wham star was still in the toilet and police reportedly found him in possession of cannabis and crack cocaine. Damn. Big Brother does live. Snarkista’s not an endorser of drug use, but she is strongly in favor of privacy while in the toilet.

George has apologized to his fans. Hopefully he can kick his drug AND public potty habits.

  1. In my opinion a lot of celebrity do-gooders are totally phony and engage in so called good deeds merely for positive publicity. I have to say that I don’t think that George is one of the phonies out there in the world of celbrity do-gooders. I admire what he is doing for the Haitian people. I wish more celebrities were as real as he is when it comes to helping out those less fortunate in the world. So kudos to George and his desire to make this world a better place.
