The issue is that the woman that he married was supporting his candidacy and was suddenly handed a death sentence. His children had their lives in a spot light and were dealing with this calamity in the national spot light. John callously, thinking of only of a moment of pleasure (and I'm sure with him it was only a moment) cavalierly tossed them ALL to the curb. He compounds theses errors with making sure that the new child will always know he publicly denounced her. That the only way he "did the right thing" was by court order. The word scumbag hardly begins to cover it or any of you 'gentleman' that could defend such a disgusting excuse for a male. Reflections in a mirror.
