Let’s face it no marriage is perfect. While I would not want to be married to either of these folks, at one time they wanted each other. If you’ve watched some of the earlier footage you will see that Kate’s personality hasn’t changed much it has only been amplified.Much the same with Jon. She was always needy and bossy and he has always been pretty much a door mat. As for the cheating, he was dating someone else when he met Kate. Jon was treated the way he allowed himself to be treated. If he thinks that he is going to be able to support himself and his children with out the show he is nuts! Kate may come across as a b**#h but she is not acting like a moron running around,going to parties and such.If he is so concerned with the well being of his kids, why is he smoking? Why is he dating a woman who is pictured on line smoking weed?When it comes to the well being of his kids he really should sit down and shut up. He is only making himself look worse-if that is even possible at this point.

I pray Kate gets full custody of the kids!!! Jon is acting like a teenager spending money like crazy and the 22yr old gf. Give me a break!!! Do you really think she is going to want to my a step mommy to eight kids? NOT! Jon grow up!!!! Work things out with Kate and for Gods sake let the show begin again! How in the world is he going to support these eight kids without the show? He has NO JOB!!!! They need the show!!!

I can’t believe this divorce is moving at such a fast pace. Most D’s in PA take MUCH longer…especially if there are children involved! There are also mandatory classes to take before the divorce. I guess the law doesn’t extend to ‘stars’.

Finally, TLC and Jon’s lawyer have come up with the same solution. Dump Jon! Jon has been in violation of his contract with the show (and his wife and family, also) for too long! It’s good that TLC finally acted and proved they do have a standard! If Jon sees the light before he totally self destructs…GREAT! Anyone can see this “new man” is a disaster!

Laura, I guess you either involved with Jon too or smoking some of his weed. Poor fool. Jon has brought all this upon himself because of his own behavior and actions. The lawyer resigned because they are a prestigious firm who pride themselves on winning cases. Jon is a lost cause due to his own actions and he will not listen to anyone, including his lawyers and PR team. The firm does not want to gain the reputation of represting lost cause losers as it will hurt future clients and credibility.

Divorce lawyers resign from representing a client for a variety of reasons.
Jon is being subjected to some of the worse PR staged by another person we have seen in years. When he tries to speak the truth, media sources quick to smack him down. Kate’ PR team is being paid big bucks and they are sure doing their job.
Kate is trying to get control of ALL the money without having to account to anyone.
Just stop the show and let these poor babies have a life without the spotlight–and mom and dad if you want to be famous and spend all your time away from home, send them to live with relatives–who have said they love them dearly but don’t have the money to fight you.
