‘Jon & Kate Plus 8′ to Become Just ‘Kate Plus 8′
It’s finally official. Starting in November, the TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 will be renamed and refocused as Kate Plus 8. TLC announced the change on Tuesday, saying the show will switch to focus on Kate Gosselin’s role as a single mother to her 8 children.
Ratings for the TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 have continued to drop since Jon and Kate Gosselin announced their impending divorce and started whining endlessly about each other in the press ad nauseum. More and more on the show, Jon Gosselin has rapidly vanished from the picture.
But despite rumors Jon & Kate Plus 8 would soon be facing cancellation, the network announced on Tuesday it would instead be retooling the show to draw in the ’single mom’ audience. “It’s not a huge shift, but it’s reflective of where the show was already going,” TLC president Eileen O’Neill said in a press statement. O’Neill also dismissed rumors Kate Gosselin had posted a message on her Facebook page speculating the series would soon go off the air. As we guessed earlier, the message was a fake.
Jon Gosselin will reportedly still be appearing occasionally on the show, but it will be less often. Less often would be pretty much almost never considering how little he’s been on it recently anyway.

My name is John LOL i am a single dad from a small town in Mass.I dont like the fact that Jon left Kate with all this on her shoulders.I know what it is lie to b a single parent not to easy.I have 1 chiled nevermind 8,my heart goes out to kate she is a remarkable women and if ever had the opertunity to tell her myself I would.I hope ate never goes back to that guy,

kate is dumb and to controlling and is in for the money. jon is th evictim of kate and controlling way their is nothing nice about kate nothing at all.. and tlc is stupit to no one with any sense at all will watch the show with it jon and kate plus 8 or kate plus eight and tlc is not as family friendly as i thought

i hope that jon is happy with his slef cause he left a woderful life. i think that the kids should have a say in it cause they are the main purse that kate and jon sighed up for. if some kids wants to keep it going and the others dont than dont film they just the ones that are happy. i think kate is a good mom and i hope she stays the way she is.. kate isnt going this just for herslef she is going this to keep clothes and food for her children. if i had that much kids i would do what kate is doing. so kate just be stronge and god will show you the way.
