Kate Gosselin Depressed Over Dancing With the Stars Criticism

Poor, pitiful Kate Gosselin. The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 reality TV mom is apparently taking the criticism of the Dancing With the Stars judges quite hard. Gosselin was picked apart by the judges yet again Monday night after her lackluster dance performance and it seems all the negativity about her dancing skills is getting her down.

Kate Gosselin got creamed by the judges yet again after her fox trot Monday night, scoring a sad 15 for her routine with partner Tony Dovolani. We kind of love that judge Bruno Tonioli told Dovolani he would be better off dancing with “a coat hanger.” Harsh!

“I had fun, and they didn’t seem to notice,” Kate Gosselin told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s starting to creep in a little bit. Tonight, I was trying to hold back horrible emotions… probably not on live TV should I be standing there crying in front of the judges… It’s getting a little difficult. I’m depressed, sort of.”

Frankly we’d probably be a bit depressed if we were embarrassing ourselves on national television the same way Kate Gosselin is on Dancing With the Stars. Although we do have to give her a little bit of props for actually managing to smile while dancing at the same time this week! That has to be super hard!

  1. So sick of her nonsense. She has it (financially) better then most married parents living under the same roof. People who are working at their nursing and I.T. professions raising several children without all of the self serving fame that she craves. I’m sad to see that DWTS went in the direction of utter nonsense then showcasing what made the show famous in the first place. People turn this show on because it takes them away from their own personal struggles only to have to listen to her whine EVERY week…If you were hurting for income so badly then you could have written your book and NOT built a dance studio in your basemement. You are an insult to the single mom swho TRULY are struggling to provide for their children…disgraceful!
I was one of your hugest fans….boy what a letdown…

  2. @gail… I think maybe Kate’s book writing options are limited now. Cuz if her mom fans feel like you do (and me too!), I doubt they’ll plop down $26 for yet another book by her about being a mom. 😉

  3. Kids don’t need to live in a $1.2 million mansion to grow up happy. In fact, they might be happier not locked up behind an iron gate. They might be happier with parents at home, maybe even in public school, living in a neighborhood with other children to play with and new friendships to be made.

I can’t imagine a kid imprisoned at their mansion, surviving in a dorm when they go to college. These kids socialize amongst themselves only. They don’t participate in after-school activities, sports, music, Brownies, Girl Scouts, dancing lessons, piano, tennis, etc. The twins are nine and they are being pushed aside.

There have been no Saturday activities with friends because that is work day. They don’t go to birthday parties, have sleepovers and play dates with friends.

I feel sorry for these kids. There is so much more in life than a mother who thinks she is a star.

  4. The fault of all this Kate nonsense is the network for allowing her to participate. This is a dancing competition, not a soap opera. And Kate is using her pathetic life and her children as an excuse to win pitty from the voter’s. That’s why she’s been saved, knowing that she sucks. I hope the network see’s this criticism and either forces her out or disqualifies her. It’s time to vote her off!!
