What can you say, CD sales are not what they used to be. Â At a launch event for her new album, Lady Gaga showed up unexpectedly at the Union Square Best Buy in New York City, and spent nearly $1000 buying copies of her own CD.
As if that weren’t enough, she also bought more than a few Zynga game cards that included free downloads of the album. Â It was a bizarre move, to say the least, but it had a happy ending for the fans who showed up for the event – Gaga stayed at the store until well after midnight, talking to fans and signing autographs.
