So it’s really happening – Lindsay Lohan will face felony grand theft charges for the $2,500 necklace she is accused of stealing.  Lindsay claims that the necklace was given to her as a loan, and that the accusations of theft are a sad attempt by the jewelry store owner to set her up and gain some attention, just because Lindsay is an easy target.

If Lindsay is convicted of the theft, she faces up to a three year sentence – not in county jail like before, but in state prison.  Her lawyers have said they’re confident that the charges won’t stick and that the court will easily see that the accusations are complete nonsense.
