Macaulay Culkin heroin addict claims by the National Enquirer are all fiction, a rep for the former child star said on Wednesday. Despite his recently gaunt and aged appearance, a rep for Macaulay Culkin told E! News a report in the National Enquirer claiming the actor is a heroin addict and on the verge of dying is totally false.
“The report in the National Enquirer that Macaulay Culkin is addicted to heroin and assorted hallucinogenics is not only categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious,” Macauly Culkin’s rep said in a press statement to E! News.
The report by the National Enquirer claims Macaulay Culkin was a heavy drug user addicted to heroin and has only months to live. Cukin’s rep begged the “responsible media to consider the source and its reputation and to please not perpetuate this destructive and insulting story by pursuing it any further.”
Earlier this year, Macaulay Culkin’s rep was forced to respond to media reports the former Home Alone star was dying of cancer, was a drug addict, or was suffering severe anorexia after photos of the 31-year-old actor looking rail-thin and far older than his years surfaced online.
