The Nightmare on Elm Street Freddy Krueger slasher movie remake is almost certain to take the weekend box office at this point. All that remains to be seen is by how much it will gut the competition in ticket sales.

How to Train Your Dragon will likely land in second place this week, projected to gross another $11 million or so by the end of the weekend. Rounding out the top five, Date Night, The Losers and The Back-Up Plan will probably be battling it out, but it’s a bit too close to call which film will end up as the leader of the pack.
