We love all contestants this season so much we really didn’t even want to know who went home on The Voice 2013 tonight! Sadly, we can’t just pretend that everyone was safe and the show can just go on entertaining us with no eliminations for endless weeks to come. No matter who was eliminated on The Voice tonight, it was going to be tough.
In a big twist this season, The Voice season 5 gave the final fate of the bottom three singers directly to the viewers this time around. After the bottom three in the votes were revealed to the audience, the fans got the chance to save their favorite by tweeting #voicesave and the first name of the singer they did not want to go home. Whichever contestant got the most mentions in the five minutes after the announcement of the bottom three would be safe, even if they had less votes than the other singers. Needless to say, the east coasters dominated the mentions since the show was live for them — a bit unfair we think.
We were so sad when American Idol winner Ruben Studdard was the one who went home on The Biggest Loser 2013 last week! Totally did not expect that to happen. We really wanted the “Velvet Teddy Bear” to make it all the way to the finale. This week, it was just as hard to guess which contestant would be the one who was eliminated on The Biggest Loser 15. We were just really hoping it wouldn’t be another of our favorites getting the boot!
Last week on The Biggest Loser 2013, we really wished Dolvett Quince had still had his save so he could have kept Ruben Studdard from going home. However, Dolvett had already used his trainer save to rescue Tanya Winfield the previous week — and then she failed to lose much weight again last week either!
On The Biggest Loser 15 week 5, the kid ambassadors from last season returned to the show to judge a cooking challenge. The contestants had to compete to whip up healthy and delicious family meals to demonstrate what they are learning about nutrition on the ranch. The winning team got a sweet prize (and we don’t mean a sugary treat!) so it was war in the kitchen to cook the most awesome meal.
When all was said and done though, it was time for another The Biggest Loser 15 cast member to go home. But wait! What is this? Apparently the White Team broke a rule and rendered last week’s weigh-in results invalid! Jillian was giving her team caffeine supplements the week before without permission from the staff doctors. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened on the show.
This means the team will get a 4 pound disadvantage as a punishment AND Ruben Studdard is back on the Red Team! No wonder he has lost 104 lbs to date since his elimination last week, he went back to the ranch!
So who was eliminated on The Biggest Loser results tonight after all this craziness? Sadly we have to report that Jillian’s team was the losing team tonight and the person with the lowest weight loss percentage was Craig. Bummer! We really thought they would go much farther in the competition after he had a real breakthrough this week. We’ll miss you Craig!
Original American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson has been talking for months about babies. The newly married singer has made it very clear that the present she wants for Christmas is a baby on the way. In nearly every interview she’s given lately, Kelly has been talking about how she ready she is to have a child with husband Brandon Blackstock. Now it seems like maybe she has gotten her wish!
On Jay Leno last night, Kelly was all about the babies again, telling the talk show host she and her hubby have been working hard to get pregnant. “Practice makes perfect!” Kelly said. Of course, Jay Leno had to ask if Kelly might already be knocked up.
Once again we were just totally confused by last week’s elimination and truly worried about which celebrity would be the one who went home on Dancing With the Stars tonight. Week after week the DWTS 17 voters have been totally disagreeing with us about who should be eliminated! They need to stop that! Seriously though, we can’t understand why the worst Dancing With the Stars 2013 cast celebrities keep making it through and our favorites keep dropping like flies.
Christina Milian, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Pretty Little Liars hunk Brant Daugherty have all been victims of fickle voters who seem to prefer old comedians with two left feet. Yes, we’re talking about you Bill Engvall. You seem like a nice enough guy and relatively funny but you couldn’t dance yourself out of a paper sack without Emma Slater shoving you from behind.
We have to be somewhat amazed that Amanda Bynes is currently undergoing psychiatric rehab and yet Miley Cyrus is allowed to roam free. We really don’t get why Miley Cyrus rubbing her groin on a giant furry or twerking a little person on stage is supposedly ‘normal’ when Amanda Bynes’ random behavior considered insane. Seriously, whatever drugs they think Amanda needs to be on — can we please have a double dose for Miley?
Either Miley Cyrus has lost her mind or she honestly just is such an attention ***** that she’ll do the most offensive things she can think of just to prevent herself from fading out of the limelight. If her vulgar twerking and tongue wagging at the VMAs wasn’t enough, she went even more tawdry at Sunday night’s EMAs. Of course, it’s okay if Miley acts crazy because she’s still popular, wealthy and famous, unlike Amanda.
After all the drama the past few weeks, we were really looking forward to tuning in and finding out who was eliminated on The Amazing Race 2013 tonight. Let’s just put it this way, Tim & Marie are NOT our favorite racers this season and we were really hoping it would be them. The sooner we have seen the last of them, the better! Alas, Marie & Tim would not end up being the ones who went home on The Amazing Race tonight.
WARNING: The Amazing Race spoilers ahead about tonight’s elimination results — beware!
The six remaining teams travelled to Abu Dhabi tonight for yet another grueling set of challenges on the way to that hefty million dollar prize. The racers first had to rappel 200 feet off of the 9th floor of a building and then fly around a racetrack at high speed. Then it was on to a Detour of either replicating a platter full of different color dates, or putting together a traditional fishing trap.
On The Amazing Race 2013 tonight, the six remaining teams head off to Abu Dhabi for a leg of adrenaline fueled challenges not for the faint of heart. In The Amazing Race 23 episode 7, the competitors will have to rappel nearly 200 feet off a building and race around a speedway at gut-wrenching speeds. Needless to say, there are a few racers who aren’t loving the terror of jumping off buildings and flying around a race track.
Will the Afghanimals Leo & Jamal have an advantage in this leg being in a more familiar culture or will they get cocky and lose it all? Will Tim and Marie implode and get themselves eliminated? What do The Amazing Race spoilers have to say about who goes home tonight in week 6?
