We knew back in September that Glee star Lea Michele had tattooed a tribute to late boyfriend Cory Monteith somewhere on her body. In October, we finally got a glimpse of part of the tattoo, which read “if you say so” on Lea’s right rib cage just below her breast. Those were reportedly the last words Cory ever spoke to her.
Now the Glee star has decided to pay tribute to the last words of her late boyfriend Cory through song as well as ink. While finishing up her new solo album, Lea Michele added one more song at the last minute in honor of Cory. “The album was done, and the label said, ‘Do you want to add anything?” Lea told Elle magazine. “I was like, ‘I might regret it if I don’t.”
Back in the day, it was a thing to have Jennifer Aniston hair when she was starring on Friends. Everyone and their mother was getting the ‘Rachel’ cut and Jennifer became nearly as famous for her luxurious locks as her acting chops. The actress abandoned the ‘Rachel’ cut years ago but her long, beautiful hair has remained a trademark ever since. Until now!
If there is any actress in Hollywood we never expected to chop off all her hair, it would be Jennifer Aniston! Amazingly, that seems to be exactly what she decided to do. The Hollywood beauty, currently engaged to Justin Theroux, has sheared off her lovely long locks and is sporting a new short bob by longtime stylist Chris McMillan.
Gleeks rejoice! Lea Michelle has reportedly signed up for a Glee spinoff series focused around her character’s road to stardom. The series will also allegedly star some of our other favorite Glee characters, including Chris Colfer as Kurt and possibly Naya Rivera as Santana. Other fan favorite characters may also appear on the show in guest roles.
A source reportedly told Radar Online the Glee spinoff series will be announced soon. This news comes on the heels of creator Ryan Murphy’s announcement that Glee will end in 2015 after the conclusion of the sixth season.
The overwhelming celebrity Halloween costume theme this year seems to be dressing up like other celebrities. In particular, it seems like everyone wanted to work their own version of Miley Cyrus’ now infamous MTV Video Music Awards ‘twerking’ outfit. If there is anything we really wanted to see less than Kelly Ripa dressed as Miley Cyrus, though, it was Miley Cyrus dressed as Lil Kim.
The worst dressed vote for celebrity Halloween costumers this year, however, goes to Matt Lauer made up as Pamela Anderson from Baywatch. We will never be able to unsee that image. Seriously, we are feeling the need for some eyeball bleach after seeing Matt Lauer with boobs.
The Kim Kardashian pregnant media coverage was apparently so terrible that it hurt the reality TV star right down to her very soul. Speaking to Jay Leno, Kim said the negative press coverage “really changed me a lot” and she wants to live a “more private life” now. We have to laugh at that remark considering she was just basically sexting Kanye West in public on Twitter just a few days ago.
We aren’t sure what a “more private life” means to Kim Kardashian but we don’t think posting nearly naked photos of yourself with your T&A hanging out all over qualifies. If you don’t want negative media attention, then the best thing to do is probably to stay OUT of the media. Oh, wait, that’s the entirety of Kim Kardashian’s life isn’t it?
In general it seems like celebrity weddings are more about the amount of money being spent than the commitment being made. Maybe that’s part of why so many celebrity couples don’t stay together for the long run. Remember Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries? The rumored cost for that one was $10 million. Can you imagine what that kind of money could have done for say, the victims of Hurricane Sandy?
When Dax Shepard revealed on Jimmy Kimmel that his wedding to Kristen Bell cost the couple just $142 dollars, we said bravo! Dax and Kristen got married at the Beverly Hills Courthouse on October 17 for under $200 bucks — and that included the gas. Granted, Dax told Jimmy Kimmel he hasn’t yet bought a ring but we’re betting he isn’t going to lay out $2 million for some insane rock or anything nutball like that.
We just could not help tearing up when we watched this emotional baby video that seems to have gone viral overnight. We first saw it on Facebook being passed around by a friend and now it’s everywhere — with good reason. We have never seen such expressive, amazing emotional empathy for a piece of music from anyone, much less a tiny 10-month-old baby!
At first, little baby Mary-Lynn Leroux smiles when momma Amanda begins singing “My Heart Can’t Tell You No” by Rod Stewart, recently covered by country singer Sara Evans. Quickly though, the baby girl is caught up in the song and tears well up in her eyes. But this sweet baby girl isn’t sad or crying because she doesn’t like the music. She smiles every time mom takes a long breath but then tears up again and makes the most incredibly emotive faces when mom is singing.
