For every True Blood fan there is a (new) season to look forward to and thankfully, the True Blood season five premiere is here at last! After the fabulously shocking True Blood season four finale, we just cannot wait to see what kind of madness will be in store for the True Blood season 5 premiere.
To wrap up in one short paragraph from True Blood season 4: Lafayette is now a medium who speaks with the dead but his boyfriend Jesus is sadly one of them; Sookie has dumped both Eric and Bill; Sookie is also a fairy and not of the gay persuasion; Eric and Bill teamed up to kill Nan; Jessica got with Jason; Tommy is dead; bad guy Russell Edgington is back; and werewolf Alcide’s girlfriend Debbie shot Tara in the head at the end of the True Blood season four finale.
The Mad Men season 5 finale is here far too soon with an episode hauntingly titled “The Phantom”. There are many phantoms hanging over the offices of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce at the end of Mad Men season 5, and it is doubtful that any of them will really be put to rest before the Mad Men finale is through. After all, all those hanging loose ends are what keeps us tuning in for the next season right?
In the past few weeks of Mad Men season five, fans have been rocked by one major twist after another. Joan Harris became a partner in Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce after prostituting herself to land Jaguar for the firm. Peggy Olson, finally fed up with never being appreciated by Don Draper, took a better offer elsewhere and has now vanished. Last week on Mad Men 2012, after having his first suicide attempt botched by a malfunctioning Jaguar engine, Lane Pryce took a far more public way out of life, hanging himself in his office.
On Thursday night, the Duets 2012 contestants performed ‘Songs That Inspire’ with celebrity duet partners Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke, John Legend and Jennifer Nettles. After two weeks of just performances, tonight was the first night one of the contestants would finally have to go home.
While we had a hard time hearing some of the performances due to rather lousy sound production, there were definately a few Duets TV show 2012 competitors that stood out tonight. There were also some fail moments, and frankly I was mostly in agreement when it came to who ended up on the bottom this week on Duets 2012.

On Thursday night, FOX launches their newest reality offering in The Choice dating show season premiere. One of the C-list celebrities to look for love on The Choice dating show is none other than former American Idol winner Taylor Hicks. This should tell you right away that you aren’t going to be seeing any really big names among the ‘celebrities’ set to appear on The Choice dating show.
Honestly, I’m a bit dissapointed in Taylor Hicks, who I actually kind of liked (although he should have never won American Idol). You have to know your music career is not going well if you are willing to stoop so low as to appear on a cheesy dating show patterned after the blind auditions on The Voice.
American Idol 2012 winner Phillip Phillips finally went under the knife on Wednesday for desperately needed kidney surgery. Phillip Phillips, who won American Idol 2012 in May, battled severe pain all season due to a genetic disorder that causes his body to produce large, unpassable kidney stones.
Phillip Phillips, 21, has needed surgery to remove a buildup of huge kidney stones since he began competing on American Idol 2012. He delayed the kidney surgery because he wanted desperately to finish out the competition. Although he was often in excruciating pain, it paid off in the end when he won American Idol 2012 over petite powerhouse Jessica Sanchez.
On America’s Got Talent 2012 Tuesday nigh, viewers were given two very different opera singers to judge. The first was Richard Grossman, who turned out to be one of the more horrible singers I’ve ever heard. The second, however, was the amazing opera singer Andrew De Leon, a goth with a golden voice and creepy eyeballs.
One look at America’s Got Talent 2012 contestant Andrew De Leon, and I bet ‘opera singer’ is not the first thing that springs to mind. After hearing him say he loves Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie, one might expect him to start screaming and spitting blood all over the stage.
The America’s Got Talent 2012 auditions in Austin, Texas continued Tuesday night with more memorable acts both good and bad. Two opera singers found their way to the spotlight, but while one moved the judges, the other made them want to run away. Plus, more circus freaks, some badass dancers and a girl with a golden voice not to be missed.
