Randy Quaid and Wife Arrested for Hotel Theft

Actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi were arrested on Thursday after allegedly failing to pay a $10,000 hotel bill in California. The couple has been charged with burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy.

Randy Quaid and his wife allegedly stiffed a swanky hotel in Santa Barbara, CA for more than $10,000. The couple was arrested in Marga, TX on Thursday afternoon, according to the Presidio County Sheriff’s Department.

Quaid and his wife were arrested on a warrant from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department.

According to authorities, Evi Quaid actually put up something of a struggle during the arrest, but was “quickly restrained.” Randy Quaid may have also struggled with officers during the arrest, though reports of the incident are sketchy at this point.

The couple is reportedly being held in custody awaiting arrainment on the theft charges.
