Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock will not seek to adopt estranged husband Jesse James‘ children, despite rumors to the contrary. James, who has been accused of cheating on Bullock with various alleged mistresses, has three children from two previous marriages.
“There are no plans, nor have there ever been any plans, for Sandra Bullock to adopt any of Jesse James’ children,” a representative for the actress told People. Bullock’s rep did not comment on whether or not she is currently planning to file for divorce from James.
James currently has custody of his three children with two previous wives, Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and daughter Sunny, 6. Janine Lindemulder, Sunny’s mother, reportedly hopes to regain at least partial custody of her daughter and may use James’s alleged cheating as fuel in her custody battle with the West Coast Choppers CEO.
At least four women have now come forward with allegations they had affairs with Jesse James. The latest, an unidentified “model and businesswoman,” claims she had a three-year relationship with Jesse James. The woman’s lawyer, Gloria Allred, said the affair between them only ended recently after rumors of James’ affair with tattoo model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee hit the tabloids.
