Very sad news, indeed- Dakota Culkin, the 29 year-old sister of actor Macaulay Culkin, was struck by a car on Tuesday on the west side of LA., and has passed away.

Police report that Dakota was walking and stepped off the curb and was then struck by a passing car. She was rushed to UCLA Medical Center where she later died from massive head trauma.

No arrests have been made as far as we know. Our prayers go out for Macaulay and his family.
