RECAP: Jonathan is upset after being betrayed in the Tribal Council and losing his immunity idol. Jeff, on the other hand, is quite pleased that Jeff no longer has an immunity idol and hopes he can target him for being voted off as soon as possible.

Former child star Lisa wants to keep her alliance together with the previous members of the Tandang Tribe, but she will do what she has to in order to stay in the game.

Jonathan tries to manipulate the others to get the target off his back, but it’s still pretty firmly planted. Lisa, meanwhile, isn’t even aiming to win the game right now. She just hopes to make it to the final five. She is working on a plan to get Mike and Jonathan out and ally with Malcolm and Denise to get rid of the dead weight of Artis, Abi and Pete.

In the reward challenge, the tribe has to split into two teams and battle it out to grab puzzle pieces and put them together. Abi-Marie, Artis, Carter, Mike and Pete are on the blue team. Denise, Jeff, Jonathan, Lisa and Malcolm are on the yellow team.

The teams have to haul a robe out into the water, unhook a buoy and haul it to shore. Once they collect four fish traps, they will dig in the sand to find keys to put together a puzzle. The first team to complete their puzzle will win a cruise and a fabulous dinner featuring ribs, cornbread, iced tea, potato salad and apple pie. Yum!

The yellow team manages to pull off a victory and Denise, Jeff, Jonathan, Lisa and Malcolm have a grand time enjoying their reward.Over on the losing side, Pete and Abi scheme about getting out Denise, Malcolm, Jeff and Jonathan. They think they should keep around Mike. Pete is not very happy with being allied with paranoid mean girl Abi, but he thinks he can top her if they go to the final three.

The winning team consumes their delicious feast and ponders who should be voted out tonight. Veteran Jonathan keeps working to get the target on his back pushed off to someone else. Lisa is really getting energetic about possibly making it to the finals. She wants to make sure she ends up there with people she can beat.

Lisa is thinking now that she and Mike should get rid of Jonathan and ally with Abi, Artis and Pete. Then they whack Malcolm and his immunity idol.

Jonathan wants to wreck everyone’s plans and win immunity so he can thumb his nose at them all.

At the Immunity Challenge, the players have to conquer a bunch of obstacles and collect puzzle pieces. Survivor just loves those puzzle challenges. The first person to get all their puzzle pieces gets to move on to put their puzzle together. The first one to complete their puzzle wins immunity.

Pete manages to get through to the next part first, followed by Jeff. Mike and Jonathan battle it out to be the third person to move to the next part. Jonathan manages to squeeze ahead and be the last to move on.

Pete, Jonathan and Jeff get to work on the puzzle pieces Pete and Jeff start out with leads early on, but Jonathan finally catches up and starts to get ahead. Then Jeff starts to catch up, but Jonathan is racing on to the finish and… he wins! Jonathan has succeeded in winning immunity and will not be voted off Survivor this week.

It’s a mad frenzy to figure out who everyone is going to vote for. Lisa had previously swore she would not tell anyone about Malcolm’s idol after finding it by accident. However, she has broken that promise twice now by telling Mike and now Pete. Could there be a Malcolm blindside in the works?

Pete goes after Malcolm and tries to get him to confess he has the hidden immunity idol. Malcolm says he doesn’t have it and wants to know who said he did. Pete admits it was Lisa who told him. They put their heads together and scheme about voting out Jeff. Pete really wants Jeff out. Pete thinks Lisa lied about Malcolm having the idol.

Lisa finds out that Pete told Malcolm about what she said regarding him having the hidden immunity idol. Pete wimps out on that and everything is now totally muddled. Malcolm, now wary, takes his immunity idol with him to Tribal Council.

At Tribal Council, Malcolm gets pissy with Lisa for revealing he has the immunity idol. He says she totally threw him under the bus and she is not denying it. Lisa says she is just trying to play smart. Malcolm shows he does have the idol and says he will use it this week. Host Jeff Probst asks if there is anyone else who wants to use an idol and Abi-Marie reveals hers as well. What the hell!

In the end though, no one actually DOES use their immunity idol this week despite everyone now knowing Abi-Marie and Malcolm both have one.

The votes are in and here’s the tally:

Abi-Marie: 1 vote
Pete: 4 votes
Jeff: 5 votes

Jeff has been voted off Survivor Philippines and will head off to the jury house with RC.
