Adrien Brody wins his lawsuit

A few weeks ago, actor Adrien Brody filed a lawsuit against the producers of a film he acted in, on the basis that he was not paid for his role, yet the film was being distributed internationally.  A judge has now ordered that Brody’s likeness cannot be used in the movie, nor used to promote it, which basically means the producers’ hands are tied until they can come up with the $650,000 they owe Brody.

What I don’t understand is, if they’re not allowed to sell the DVD, how on earth are they going to be able to come up with that kind of money?  I understand Brody’s point, and I’m glad the judge ruled in his favor but I think he’s kind of shooting himself in the foot on this one.
