One of Jessica Sanchez’s biggest disappointments was actually failing to win this year’s American Idol 2012 crown for the ladies. A guy has now been the American Idol winner for five years on a row.

American Idol 2012: Jessica Sanchez to Perform at National Memorial Day Concert

American Idol 2012 petite powerhouse Jessica Sanchez has been signed on to sing for the PBS National Memorial Day Concert at the U.S. Capitol. The National Memorial Day Concert will air live from the U.S. Capitol West Lawn on Sunday, May 27 at 8PM ET.

American Idol 2012 hopeful Jessica Sanchez will reportedly sing the national anthem at the PBS concert. She will also perform her rendiction of “The Prayer” by Celine Dion, which she performed on American Idol 2012 earlier this season. The concert will air live and be broadcast to U.S. military forces around the world via the American Forces Network.
