Amy Poehler Pregnant with Second Child

Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler is pregnant with her second child, a rep for the star confirmed on Wednesday to Us Weekly. Poehler and husband Will Arnett were married in 2003 and already have one child together, 16-month-old Archie.

A representative for the happy expecting couple confirmed the news of Amy Poehler’s pregnancy to UsMagazine.com. No due date for the baby or other information has yet been released.

Producers on Parks and Recreation are already working on how to accommodate Poehler’s baby on board, according to TheWrap.com. Instead of taking a usual summer break from filming, the show will reportedly begin taping for the new season as soon as the current one wraps.

“We’ll continue in production of season three as soon as production of season two concludes,” a rep for Universal Media Studios told TheWrap.com.

Congrats to Poehler and Arnett on the forthcoming new addition to the family!

Amy Poehler Won’t Be On SNL Tonight…She Just Had Her Baby!


Amy Poehler’s had a HARD day today…she’s been in labor. Like, all day. So…Amy won’t be doing any Palin Raps or Weekend Updates tonight. Poor Seth Myers is gonna have to anchor all by himself. That baby KNEW it was Saturday and was all “Oh NOOOOES!!!” Congratulations to Amy and hubby “Arrested Development’s” Will Arnett on the new baby boy Archie! 8 lbs, 1 ounce. Somebody give Amy a donut…pillow.

Remember, it was only ONE WEEK AGO when Amy did THIS!

Also, Snarkista just checked, and yes, she STILL wants Coldplay to come over and play. Very much.

Sarah Palin On SNL- The Palin Rap

If you’re a fan of Saturday Night Live, you know that little, white, Amy Poehler has some MAD rap skilz. You don’t get to see them often, but when you do… it’s a fab treat. Last night, Governor Sarah Palin stopped by SNL and everything went great! Alec Baldwin came by too, and told Sarah she was WAY hotter in person. The papz say this is TRUTH! Lefty bloggers need to lighten up; Palin looked fun, not dumb. Sarah got her groove on with everyone while Amy threw down The Palin Rap. All tha plumbers in tha house pull ya pants up!
