Amy’s father, Mitch, said that the album will be up to the standards of her earlier albums. He stated that had it not been honoring to Amy’s memory the family would not have chosen to release it. The album is being put together by Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, two of Amy’s long-time musical partners, in collaboration with the Winehouse family, her management and record label.

This will be Amy’s third album following “Frank” and Grammy-winning “Back to Black.”

More Amy Winehouse albums have reportedly been sold in the past week than sold in the first six months of the year, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Over 50,000 copies have been were sold in the week after the singer’s untimely death.

Amy Winehouse’s breakthrough album, Back to Black, climbed into the #9 position on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week with 37,0000 copies sold, the bulk of them as digital downloads.

This was the highest weekly sales for Back to Black since March of 2008, two weeks after the Grammy Awards, at which Winehouse took home five wins.

Winehouse’s debut album, Frank, also saw an increase in sales. Over 7,600 copies of it were sold, 7000 of them as digital downloads. The British singer’s signature song, “Rehab,” scored 34,000 digital downloads for the week, which ended on Sunday. Next week’s report will likely see an even higher total.

The official cause of death for Amy Winehouse has still not been determined. An autopsy on the singer’s body revealed nothing conclusive. Coroner officials are now waiting for toxicology tests to come back, which may take from 2 to 4 weeks.

In an interview on the British TV Show This Morning, Mitch Winehouse suffered an extreme moment of lack of taste by saying his daughter was doing “Fantastic,” and then adding, “Her boobs are great as well.”

Realizing quickly that he himself sounded like a great boob, Winehouse said sheepishly, “I shouldn’t have said that should I?” Um. No.

At least daddy Winehouse said he didn’t pay for his daughter’s new breasts, which would have been even more seriously disturbing. Though he did basically call Amy Winehouse a mooch. “Whenever I see her, she says, ‘Dad can you give me a couple of hundred.’ [But] I didn’t have to pay for the boobs.”

Personally, we don’t agree with Mitch Winehouse and his aberrant opinion of his daughter’s boobs.  Before the new boobs, Amy Winehouse just usually looked like a wasted crack whore. Now she looks like a wasted crack whore who stole Anna Nicole Smith‘s boobs. Not an improvement. We’d demand a refund.

Drug-n-drunkie Amy Winehouse had a pretty bi-polar reaction to the news that her former hubby, fellow addict Blake Civil-Fielder, has knocked someone up. Wino is back to terrorizing the peaceful island of St. Lucia, where she first assumed Blake’s underage girlfriend, Francesca Morralee, was the mom-to-be. While downing champagne at a resort bar, she started off happily blabbering: “I knew he’d got her pregnant. I had this feeling Blake was having a kid.”

Wrong! Seems that heroin addict Blaaaake has impregnated a fellow junkie! Amy wasn’t thrilled to hear that Blake’s child was conceived IN REHAB with heroin addict Gilleen Morris, 31, not Francesca.

Amy proceeded to lose her tenuous grip. “That better be a mistake or I’ll beat his head in. Oh great, he’s had it with some … I don’t wanna know – don’t tell me any more.”

Then the real show started: Amy began pounding her chest, convulsing and grabbing her stomach in pain. After she downed some Xanax calmed down, she expressed some addled happiness for Blake.

“All I wanna know and all I need to know is that my baby is having a baby. I never talk to him, I’m never going to see him again but we’re like best friends. I have to cut him out of my life because he has to cut me out… so me and Blake can’t be friends but you know what? He’s having a kid and that is amazing.”

Not to be outdone, Amy then declared that she TOO wanted to have a baby. Actually, she wants to have twins. Fortunately, Amy’s years of chemical craziness probably sent her eggs packing long ago. We can only hope.

Amy Winehouse has started recording her third studio album, but her label, Island/Universal Records, reportedly have rejected her new songs, according to The Sun.

“The lyrics are very dark indeed. Everyone understands that Amy is an artist and she must be true to her instincts,” the source further explains to the publication. “In the past, she’s written frequently about broken hearts and boyfriends, but this time round she’s delving into harrowing terrain.”

Because she spent the past few months terrorizing the peaceful island of St. Lucia, Wino has “ditched her trademark vintage soul sound and is now heavily influenced by reggae.” The source adds, “Her bosses don’t think it’s a wise move to change her style so sharply and have told her that.

Amy Winehouse has been charged with assault with regards to an incident that took place last September. Wino checked into a police station today and was charged with “common assault,” according to BBC News.

Wino is accused of hitting a fan during the End of Summer Ball held in London’s Berkeley Square on September 25th. She will appear on the charge at the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court on March 17.

Amy was trashed as usual at the festival, and certainly doesn’t remember anything connected with it. “Did you hit the fan, Amy?” “Er, me s*** is always hittin’ the fan, guvnah. You’ll ‘ave ta be a bit more specific.”

The ball was Amy’s goddaughter’s “singing debut” and Amy ruined the whole thing for the poor kid. The Ball’s dress code was formal…Wino showed up in ratty shorts and, of course, ballet slippers. She head-butted a fan in her crazed haze, and “sang” with her goddaughter while she hung all over the poor little cutie.

Meanwhile, Amy was out partying in London for the first time since she left the extremely grateful island of St. Lucia.

Amy Winehouse’s hubby Blaaaaake was freed from the Big House (again) yesterday and this was news to the Wino. She’s been in her new adopted homeland of St. Lucia when she heard the news. Crackie is upset because she wasn’t the first to know.

A snitch told The Sun,

“Hearing Blake was out brought lots of emotions back for Amy. She feels like she was the last to know he was getting released and that hurt. She is desperate to see him again and wants to work things out. She still loves him.”

Dealers all over London are high-fiving! St. Lucia is high-fiving! This is the answer to their prayers. Wino was running off the tourists in St. Lucia, and the crack biz took a huge hit when Amy left for the island. It’s all part of the global economic recovery plan. Thanks, Obama!

Kate and rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince of Kills are, of course, “thrilled.” And probably that TIRED celeb baby-news phrase “over the moon.” Kate already has a six-year-old daughter Lila Grace from her relationship with magazine publisher Jefferson Hack. (Priceless last name, dude.)

Stay off the blow, Kate. It’ll be easier if you keep away from your drug-bud/ex Pete Doherty. Just remember that video of Pete and Amy Winehouse scaring the crap out of the baby mice.

A source told The Sun that: “she looked in a terrible state, a shaking mess. The people with her were very concerned.”

A spokesman for Amy admitted she was in hospital. He said she had run out of a drug replacement she has been using. No weed in the Caribbean?! Must be climate change.

Wino always takes a licking that would kill a normal person, but she keeps on (literally) kicking. When she sneezes, it snows in the Caribbean. Ganja men get ready, because Amy’s doing great and she’ll be busting out of the hospital soon! And she’s out of weed. Remember the kicking part.

Amy Winehouse has been slumming around in St. Lucia, ostensibly sobering up, but not really. Her minders haven’t been able to stop her from getting shizzy drunk and crawling around on all fours, trying to steal other people’s drinks. I guess, Karma IS a bitch.

Amy’s flat in London was robbed last night, and Wino was pretty much cleaned out. Burglars smashed their way into her North London property at 4am this morning, stealing about $30,000 worth of her belongings including recording equipment and five guitars. Amy’s supposed to return in a couple of days from St Lucia.

“Amy is devastated. Some of the guitars are irreplaceable due to their sentimental value. The flat is in a real state.

This was probably just an excuse to clean up Amy’s notoriously nasty flat, and the guitars were just a downpayment on the Superfund project.

Amy is expected to fly back to London this weekend to start work on her third album, the follow-up to the worldwide hit ‘Back to Black’. She is also set to visit her husband in prison in a bid to stop him filing for divorce.

The troubled star has begged hubby Blaaaaake Fielder-Civil (in jail for a 27-month sentence for “perverting the course of justice and grievous bodily harm”) not to end their marriage over HER alleged infidelity.

Amy got busted fooling around with 21-year-old actor Josh Bowman and a fitness instructor named Andrew while partaying in St. Lucia. Hey, she was hammered at the time. Wino doesn’t remember stuff like that! That means it doesn’t count, Blaaaaaake!!
