After 25 years of marriage, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have decided to call it quits on their relationship. The former California governor and Kennedy clan princess announced the end of their marriage only a few weeks after Schwarzenegger left the governor’s office.
The announcement Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger were splitting up was originally posted in the Los Angeles Times. The Times reported Shriver had moved out of the couple’s mansion in Brentwood several weeks ago and has been staying in a Beverly Hills hotel.

Although the split may seem sudden, Extra TV noted the two arrived seperately at a restuarant on Mother’s Day without their wedding rings. They have also been spotted taking seperate vacations during the past few months. Maria Shriver posted a YouTube video back on March 28 where she talked about ‘moving on’ to the next part of her life and being “in transition”.
TMZ.com claims Shriver was upset and “fed up with Arnold’s infidelities, coupled with the fact that he’s been impossible to live with.” The couple met in 1977 and were married in 1986. Together they have an estimated worth of over $600 million, which should be fun for them to squabble over in their upcoming divorce proceedings. Shriver and Schwarzenegger have four children.
