After much labor speculation, then confirmation yesterday…Ashlee Simpson finally popped. She gave birth to a baby boy last night! Unfortunately, Ashlee and hubby Pete Wentz have been reading their copy of Ridiculous Celebrity Baby Names, and have saddled the little one with “Bronx Mowgli“. Yeah, Mowgli. Like in The Jungle Book. Sigh. Bronx weighed in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Welcome to the world, little guy.

There have been many reports this week that Ashlee Simpson was in labor to deliver her baby, but so far, no baby! Hubby Pete Wentz has been on pins and needles. In Touch is breaking the news that it’s gotten confirmation that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is now in labor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. “Yes, she is in labor,” confirms a family insider. Husband Pete Wentz “and the family are really excited and are waiting to meet the baby.â€
Maybe the little Emo will actually be born today! And let’s HOPE they don’t name the baby Emo.
