It’s no secret that there has been a long-running feud between Apple Computers and the Beatles‘ record company, Apple Corps, over the rights to the Apple name. Â This argument has kept the Beatles catalogue from being sold in iTunes, but now it seems that the two sides have settled their differences. Â The entire Beatles catalog is available for the low price of $149, or of course you can pick and choose your favorites and build your own playlists.
This is huge news for Beatles fans, who now can get special iTunes-only content that they can’t get anywhere else. Â However, the news is somewhat of a disappointment to other iTunes fans, who had thought the buzz might be about a new online-based version of iTunes. Â Apparently that’s not coming for a while yet.
