Beyonce’s mom says there’s no baby on the way

Despite reports in major magazines and newspapers earlier this week, Tina Knowles (Beyonce’s mother) appeared on Ellen DeGeneres‘ show to say that no, it’s not true – Beyonce is not pregnant.  She went on to say that if every pregnancy rumor in the press were true, she’d have six grandchildren by now.

Knowles says that she can’t wait to be a grandmother again, though, and that if and when it finally happens, no one will be happier than she will.  So now it’s time to wonder – is it possible that Mom has been kept out of the loop and that B actually is pregnant, or is it more likely that the press jumped to conclusions too easily?

Beyonce’s Parents Matthew and Tina Knowles Divorce Confirmed

The Matthew and Tina Knowles divorce is officially on. The parents of superstar singer Beyonce and sister Solange Knowles confirmed they are getting a divorce in a joint statement released to the press. Tina and Matthew Knowles said the divorce decision was “amicable” despite the paternity lawsuit currently pending against Matthew Knowles by alleged baby momma Alexsandra Wright.

“The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one,” Beyonce’s parents said in a press statement. “We remain friends, parents and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.

Tina Knowles filed divorce papers in Texas recently to put an end to her 29-year marriage to Matthew Knowles. The divorce papers were filed not long after a woman named Alexsandra Wright slammed Matthew Knowles with a paternity suit, claiming he is the father of her child, which is due in the spring.

We do indeed hope Matthew and Tina Knowles can keep their divorce “amicable” as they say they will. We’ve certainly seen more than enough nasty Hollywood divorce battles splashed all over the tabloids.

Beyonce‘s mom Tina Knowles has reportedly filed for divorce from estranged husband Matthew Knowles, seeking to end their 29-year marriage. Matthew Knowles was slapped with a paternity suit in October from a woman named Alexsandra Wright, who claims he is the father of her baby.

Tina Knowles reportedly filed divorce papers in Texas last month after the paternity suit from Matthew Knowles’ alleged mistress hit the press. 30-something Alexsandra Wright claims 58-year-old Matthew Knowles had an affair with her and is the father of her baby. No comment has been made from either side on the reported divorce filing so far.

Matthew Knowles is the longtime manager of daughter Beyonce while Tina Knowles was Beyonce’s original costume designer and helped launch the House of Dereon fashion line with her daughter in 2004. Millions could be at stake in a divorce battle between Beyonce’s parents.

Beyonce Cancels Concert in Malaysia After Protests

Pop diva Beyonce has cancelled a concert in Malaysia after protests from members of the country’s Islamic community calling the singer “immoral.”

The Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party issued a statement regarding the proposed concert saying Beyonce’s “skimpy attire and behavior on stage are immoral and lead to unclean behavior.” In the statement issued Monday, the organization included a veiled threat saying it opposes “the holding of such concerts and we will take action to prevent it.”

According to concert organizers, Beyonce has indefinitely postponed her appearance in Malaysia, though she has not admitted the cancellation was due to the protests against her upcoming performance. “The postponement is solely the decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons,” concert organizers Marctensia stated. Refunds will be issued to those who purchased tickets for the October 25 show.

Beyonce previously cancelled a concert in Malaysia two years ago after similar protests. Concert organizers stated a new date would likely be announced “shortly” and reps for Beyonce would be issuing a statement regarding the cancelled concert later this week.

Matthew Knowles, father of Beyonce and Solange Knowles, has been slapped with a paternity suit by Alexsandra Wright, who claims she is six months pregnant with the music manager’s child.

A woman named Alexsandra Wright has reportedly filed a paternity suit against Matthew Knowles in Los Angeles County Superior Court claiming he is the father of her baby. Wright is reportedly six months pregnant. Information about Wright is still sketchy, other than that she is reportedly in her 30’s and works in “branding.”

Matthew Knowles has been married to Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mother, for nearly 30 years. Knowles managed Destiny’s Child before founding his own record label, Music World Entertainment, in 2003.

This is not the first time Matthew Knowles has been accused of cheating on wife Tina Knowles. Back in 2005, gossip maven Wendy Williams alleged Knowles had an affair with a dancer on her WBLS radio show.

Kelly Rowland Cans Beyonce’s Dad

Kelly Rowland, one of the last remainder-girls from Destiny’s Child, reportedly fired Beyonce’s dad Matthew Knowles as her manager yesterday. You KNOW that given the choice between spending his time on Sasha Fierce or on Kelly, Kelly’s gonna get the short stick. For crying out loud- Solange Knowles has to live in the basement and wear Big Bird outfits. Kelly should have seen this coming!

Reportedly, a MAJOR argument went down between Kelly and her showbiz “Dad” before she showed him the door. She felt (correctly) that he’s been trying to sabotage her career for years. Kelly, you’re super talented and gorgeous! Girl, go bag a manager with less baggage.
