Beyonce Inauguration Lip Sync Defended By Jennifer Lopez And LeAnn Rimes

Beyonce Inauguration lip sync defended by Jennifer Lopez and LeAnn Rimes. Both Lopez and Rimes, who at one time or another have been there, done that as far as the lip-syncing goes, were asked about the budding scandal when they made their promotional rounds last night.  J.Lo while stopping by The Daily Show, and Rimes while talking to Jimmy Kimmel.

And both were nothing but supportive.”I’m actually taking up for her on this one,” LeAnn said, arguing that the decision may not have been the singer’s to make. “There are times when people will ask you to do it, and they will not let you do it unless you do it because they want control over what happens.”

Beyonce Lip-Sync At Inauguration Confirmed

Beyonce was on hand at the presidential inauguration on Monday to perform the National Anthem but instead decided to go with a pre-recorded performance. While Beyonce has not admitted directly that she mouthed the words to the song the confirmation instead came from Kristin DuBois, Public Affairs Chief For The Marine Band.

“All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day. We performed, live, the band. But we received last-minute word that Beyonce was going to use the pre-recorded vocal track. Those were the instructions we were given. We don’t know what the reason why,” DuBois told PageSix.

While pre-recorded performances are commonplace at the inauguration another big name singer managed to perform live. Kelly Clarkson had no trouble stepping up to the challenge, DuBois explained to HollywoodLife. “It’s not because she couldn’t sing, something had to have happened that prevented her from doing that. Kelly Clarkson did sing live and the band accompanied her.”

You can watch both performances below and see who you think did it better. Beyonce or Kelly Clarkson?

Beyonce Baby Blue Ivy Photo Shows How Much She’s Grown!

A fan photo of Beyoncé and 6-month old daughter Blue Ivy shows just how much the adorable toddler has grown! Baby Blue Ivy, daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, looks healthy and happy in this new photo posted by a fan on Twitter.

Beyoncé and Blue Ivy were out shopping at Bergdof Goodman in Manhattan when a fellow shopper managed to snag a photo of the gorgeous mom and doll-faced baby girl.

Isn’t she just cute as pie?

Beyonce Due Date Earlier Than Expected

Either Beyonce is really bad at math or her February due date was just a ruse (although both are totally possible). Of course there were a couple assumptions made on the part of her fans and the tabloids. Apparently when she announced her pregnancy at the VMA’s people assumed she was about three months pregnant, but she was actually much farther along than that.

Behind-the-scenes footage from her “Countdown” music video shoot shows her holding a newspaper with the date September 23rd and saying: “Right now I’m actually shooting the video for ‘Countdown’ and I’m six months pregnant, pretending that my stomach is flat in body suits. But thank god you can’t really tell from the front, but when I turn to the side.” Doing the math, that would make her due … NEXT MONTH!

Camouflaging a pregnancy at SIX MONTHS? That costume artist should win an award.

It’s Going to be a Girl for Beyonce!

Looks like Sasha Fierce will be having her own little fierce-ling to doll up and tote about town. Kelly Rowland accidentally revealed the gender of Beyonce’s baby at the Cosmopolitan Awards last week. Hope she’s not in trouble with Mama B because we’re thrilled to hear that!

Destiny’s Child bandmate Rowland dished to Us Weekly about what she might get Beyonce at the baby shower saying:

“I don’t know, I think her dad [Jay-Z] is gonna give her everything anyways, all I can give her is love.”

Yipes! That’s kind of a big slip-up! But on the other hand, if you’re in the spotlight and are trying to keep something a secret, you should probably keep it completely to yourself. Not even your BFFs are safe!

Hopefully Rowland’s comments about her willingness to babysit will make up for her mistake.

Jay-Z and Beyonce Pregnant: Announcement at VMAs Steals The Show

Beyoncé Knowles stole the show at the Video Music Awards on Sunday night when she announced live on stage that she was pregnant with Jay-Z‘s baby. Dressed in an elegant, loose-fitting red gown, Beyoncé teased reporters before her performance by cupping her belly and saying, “I have a surprise.”

Beyoncé, 29, has been plagued with pregnancy rumors for years and it seems like the latest round of gossip about her growing baby bump actually were true after all!

Before performing “Love on Top” at the VMAs, Beyoncé told the audience, “I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me.” After her performance, Beyoncé unbuttoned her jacked, rubbed her rounded stomach and visually announced that she and husband Jay-Z were expecting a baby. The screams from the audience were deafening.

Beyoncé’s husband, rapper Jay-Z, reacted to his wife’s announcement with a beaming smile, clapping loudly while Kanye West slapped him on the back.

“I think she’ll be an incredible mother,” Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland told EOnline.com. “She’s always been motherly. I think that takes after so many traits from her mother [Tina Knowles]. I just think it’s going to be so natural for her. It’s natural for her now. I can’t believe this to this day.”

Beyoncé’s pregnancy could delay her role in Clint Eastwood‘s remake film of A Star Is Born, which was tentatively due to start shooting in February, according to Deadline.com.
