Big Brother Canada Open Casting Calls Annouced!

Open casting calls for the first season of Big Brother Canada have been announced! Our brothers and sisters to the north can now begin their crazed quest to try to land one of the coveted spots on the Big Brother Canada cast for season one.

Insight Productions and Shaw Media have announced open casting calls will begin for Big Brother Canada on August 1st. Hopefuls for the first Big Brother Canada cast must be at least 19 years old and Canadian citizens. Sorry, U.S. folks, no sneaking over the border to get on the show!

Big Brother 14 House Tour With Host Julie Chen (VIDEO)

Host Julie Chen gives us a grand tour of the Big Brother 14 house in a video shoot for Entertainment Tonight. Julie shows off a the ‘Urban Pop’ themed house full of very bright colors, strong patterns, and strange oddities (like a room full of shoes). Julie calls it ‘Tokyo Pop’ and I think it’s very 80’s looking.

Like the rest of us, Big Brother 14 host Julie Chen is a huge fan of the show and can’t wait to see what is going to happen next. She tell’s ET it will be a sleepless summer for her “because I have to watch what these houseguests are doing.”

CBS Big Brother 14: The Ladies of The Talk Take Over the BB14 House

Before the houseguests arrived to move in to the Big Brother 14 house, the ladies of The Talk had a chance to move in and check out the digs for the new Big Brother 2012 season. Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, Sheryl Underwood, and Aisha Tyler competed in their own mini game of Big Brother while in the house.

Prior to the arrival of the Big Brother 14 cast, the ladies of the view spent an afternoon “partaking in the full Big Brother experience,” according to CBS. The Talk hosts played an abbreviated version of the game and ended up evicting one of the ladies. I am actually quite curious if the ladies formed any alliances and who ended up getting kicked off…

CBS Big Brother 14 Cast Features 12 New Players and 4 Returning Vets

The CBS Big Brother 14 cast has officially been announced! CBS has released the first official Big Brother 14 cast photos, profiles and videos of the new houseguests. The network also revealed a major new twist for the new Big Brother 2012 season and it is something never before seen in the show.

A while back, CBS let slip that the Big Brother 14 cast would be the biggest in the history of the show. Since the previous record number of houseguests was 16, that meant this season should have at least 17 Big Brother 14 houseguests.

In the official Big Brother 14 cast list revealed on Thursday morning, fans were given the dish on 12 new houseguests… and found out that there will be 4 returning players for the Big Brother 2012 season as well. Hmmm. That still only adds up to 16 players, which would only tie the highest number of houseguests ever, but perhaps CBS still has another twist waiting in the wings for us…

CBS Big Brother 14 Houseguests First Look! (VIDEO)

The first CBS Big Brother 14 cast promos were released on July 4th and the new Big Brother 14 houseguests look like a very interesting group indeed. Plus, one of the new Big Brother 2012 cast members has a very personal connection with a previous Survivor cast member!

In my first glance at the CBS Big Brother 14 cast so far, I’m a bit surprised at the lack of diversity. I’m less surprised that CBS Big Brother seems to be recycling various Big Brother stereotype characters once again. I wonder if there will ever again be a Big Brother cast without a ‘model’ for example or some variation on the hot but kind of scary cocktail waitress/VIP server/bartender chick. Oh well. Big Brother 14 House Photos Leak!

The first official Big Brother 14 house photos were not supposed to hit the Internet until Monday at midnight, according to Yahoo Entertainment Features Editor Matt Whitfield. It seems like someone decided to defy CBS Big Brother, however, and leak the Big Brother 2012 house photos early, as they were posted online last night by an anonymous party.

Posting on his Twitter feed, Yahoo Entertainment’s Matt Whitfield said he would be given the go ahead to post the first Big Brother 14 media day photos on Monday at midnight. Apparently, however, either some Big Brother fan site (who we will not name here) just decided to ignore the embargo from CBS on the photos, or someone hacked said Big Brother fan site (one of the rumors going around) and stole the photos to post online.

New Big Brother 14 Commercial Promises Game Changing Shocker

On the official Big Brother 14 spoilers front, the newest Big Brother 2012 commercial just came out and the newest tease from CBS Big Brother claims the new season will contain “60 captivating minutes, 4 super-sizes surprises, and 1 game changing shocker” — and that’s all in just the first episode!

We have already had Big Brother 14 spoilers that this will be the biggest cast ever on the show. So this looks like it could turn out to be a very exciting season indeed, especially with all the rumors going around so far. Check out the new Big Brother 14 promo below, which includes the first tiny glimpse of the outside of the Big Brother 14 house.
