Borat to play Saddam

Sacha Baron Cohen, the comedic genius behind Ali G, Borat, and Bruno, is slated to play his latest character in 2012, and it will surprise some: Saddam Hussein.  The Dictator is a comedic film adaptation of a book thought to be wrote by Hussein himself, and considering how well Cohen pulled off the Borat look, Saddam Hussein isn’t much more of a stretch.

For those who had heard that Baron Cohen would be playing Freddy Mercury at some point, apparently that’s still a thing, but it’s unclear whether the Queen movie is going to be coming out before or after the Saddam movie.  Either way, they’re both bound to be worth the price of admission.

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen Storms Milan Fashion Show: Video!

Crazy comedian Sacha Baron Cohen was taken to a police station last week after he brought chaos to a Milan fashion show for the second day in a row! He crashed the show of designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada in Milan. Despite the increased security after he evaded guards and ran backstage into the models’ changing rooms, he managed to get in AGAIN. Sacha is best known for his “Borat” character, but was in character as his new creation “Bruno”, a flamboyant Austrian fashionista.

Cohen was in Milan working on a new film called Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male. The movie is being shot in the same documentary style as 2006’s smash hit Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

The day before, Cohen and his film crew managed to get past security to the backstage area of Italian label Iceberg‘s show wearing fake passes. TV footage showed Cohen dressed in head-to-toe velcro and wearing a blonde wig running about, screaming and hurling himself at the clothes racks! Reportedly, Cohen crashed ANOTHER show in Paris yesterday. Newsflash, designers: if one of your models has an excess of back hair, you may want to call security.
