Thiessen and and husband Brady Smith are expecting their first child together, something they are both pleased as punch about. Smith and Thiessen announced the pregnancy on Monday. The baby is due in May.

“We are over the moon!” the couple said in statement to People on Monday. “It’s something we’ve wanted for a long time and we are thrilled that it’s actually happening. Tiffani Thiessen and Brady Smith were married in 2005.

Former 90210 star Tiffani Thiessen, who currently stars in USA’s White Collar, said her work on the series delayed plans to have a child. “I don’t want to spring a pregnancy on a brand new show that I just got on,” Thiessen told Ok Magazine in August. “We’re going to wait and try to figure out when the best time is.”

Guess Thiessen and Smith decided the best time is right now!
