Brad Pitt Didn’t Mean to Call Ex-Wife Jennifer Aniston Boring

Brad Pitt has come forward to clarify comments he made about ex-wife Jennifer Aniston in an upcoming interview with Parade magazine. Brad Pitt says he did not mean to imply in the interview that Jennifer Aniston was boring, although his life while they were married apparently was.

Speaking to Parade magazine, Brad Pitt said that it “became very clear to me that I was so intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself.” Pitt said he “started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holdinga joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic.”

In the interview, Pitt — now married to Angelina Jolie — said he thought his marriage to Jennifer Aniston and “trying to pretend the marriage was somethign that it wasn’t” contributed to his discontent.

Brad Pitt later dumped Jennifer Aniston after meeting (and snogging) Angelina Jolie on the set of 2005’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Despite what sounds like some pretty nasty comments about his marriage to Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt now insists he didn’t mean to say she was uninteresting and boring. In a statement to E! Online, Pitt said, “It grieves me that this was interpreted this way. Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly.”

He added, “The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself — and that, I am responsible for.”

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt gushed in the Parade interview about his life with new love Angelina Jolie. “I’m satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much… Oh, man, I’m so happy to have her.”

“With a partner like Angie, I know that when I’m working, the kids are happy, safe and prospering. And when Angie’s working, she knows she has the same,” Pitt said. “One of the smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom.”

Still, rumors they are planning a secret wedding are unfounded, Pitt said. He and Angelina Jolie previously vowed not to get married until “everyone can” — referring to the couple’s support of gay marriage. Pitt says they are still holding to that vow.

Jay-Z and Beyonce Pregnant: Announcement at VMAs Steals The Show

Beyoncé Knowles stole the show at the Video Music Awards on Sunday night when she announced live on stage that she was pregnant with Jay-Z‘s baby. Dressed in an elegant, loose-fitting red gown, Beyoncé teased reporters before her performance by cupping her belly and saying, “I have a surprise.”

Beyoncé, 29, has been plagued with pregnancy rumors for years and it seems like the latest round of gossip about her growing baby bump actually were true after all!

Before performing “Love on Top” at the VMAs, Beyoncé told the audience, “I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me.” After her performance, Beyoncé unbuttoned her jacked, rubbed her rounded stomach and visually announced that she and husband Jay-Z were expecting a baby. The screams from the audience were deafening.

Beyoncé’s husband, rapper Jay-Z, reacted to his wife’s announcement with a beaming smile, clapping loudly while Kanye West slapped him on the back.

“I think she’ll be an incredible mother,” Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland told “She’s always been motherly. I think that takes after so many traits from her mother [Tina Knowles]. I just think it’s going to be so natural for her. It’s natural for her now. I can’t believe this to this day.”

Beyoncé’s pregnancy could delay her role in Clint Eastwood‘s remake film of A Star Is Born, which was tentatively due to start shooting in February, according to

Lady Gaga postpones Paris show – again

Paris just doesn’t seem to be working out very well for Lady Gaga.  A show scheduled for October had to be postponed due to street demonstrations regarding the legal retirement age, and now the rescheduled show has had to be postponed yet again, this time because of the heavy winter storms covering the region.

Gaga’s equipment trucks were prevented from reaching the venue because of safety regulations that limit the maximum weight load certain roads can handle in the snow.  She wanted to do a version of her show without her elaborate stage setup, but even the power sources and the sound system were unavailable, so the show has had to be postponed again.  Perhaps the third time will be the charm?

“It’s Conan, simple, pure, like the guy himself,” Conan O’Brien said in the YouTube video announcement. O’Brien joked in the video that he spent millions on legal and media research teams to come up with the name for his new show.

Conan O’Brien infamously walked away from NBC’s Tonight Show earlier this year after the network tried to bump him to a later time slot to move Jay Leno back to late night. O’Brien reportedly received a severance package of an estimated $45 million, but had to agree not to appear on television again until the fall.

Conan will premiere on TBS before Lopez Tonight on November 8.

Doctors found Michael Douglas’ throat cancer in early August, after it had already reached an advanced stage. “It’s a stage four [cancer], which is intense,” Douglas told David Letterman. You want to be at stage one.”

Douglas said he just finished his first full week of radiation and chemotherapy, a routine he will have to go through for eight weeks. Douglas blamed his disease on his lifetime of smoking and drinking.

Catherina Zeta-Jones, Douglas’ wife, told People magazine she was furious doctors did not find the cancer earlier. “He sought every option and nothing was found,” she said. “The hardest part is seeing his fatigue, because Michael is never tired.”

Douglas said the cancer treatments he is undergoing are severely draining. “It knocks you out really hard… I’m doing everything I can.”
