Patti Stanger, star of Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker, has called off her wedding to boyfriend Andy Friedman. Stanger and Friedman had been together for six years, but didn’t become engaged until last year. Not only is the wedding now off, but the Millionaire Matchmaker star has reportedly dumped Friedman for good!
Patti Stanger, 51, has spent her life finding love for others, as featured in her Bravo reality show Millionaire Matchmaker. It seems, however, the Stanger has run into a brick wall in her own love life!
“I just ended my relationship with Andy,” the Millionaire Matchmaker star posted on her Twitter feed Saturday. “It hit me really hard that I want kids in my life,” she said. “You have to agree on the non-negotiables.”
You would have thought the two would have gotten around to figuring out that whole “kids” thing a lot earlier in their relationship! Poor Patti, maybe she can go set up a nice cattle call for herself to scout out a new beau!
Former reality TV star Tila Tequila was attacked and allegedly pelted with urine and feces at an Insane Clown Posse music festival. Tequila has threatened to sue over the attack at the “Gathering of the Juggalos” festival in Illinois on Saturday.
Tila Tequila, who starred in the reality dating show A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, was supposed to perform but was chased off the stage by juggalos – a nickname for fans of Insane Clown Posse. Tequila was allegedly assaulted with rocks, bottles, balloons filled with urine and other offensive projectiles.
“I went onstage and immediately, before I even got on stage, dudes were throwing huge stone rocks in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair… cuz they threw fire crackers on stage,” Tequila told TMZ.com.
The bisexual Playboy model reportedly ran from the stage and hid in a trailer. Festival goers then allegedly attacked the trailer and smashed its windows. Tequila later reportedly escaped, but had the windows of her SUV smashed as well.
One witness reportedly said Tequila was taunting the crowd and at one point raised her top and flashed her boobs at them. Tequila is now threatening to sue the festival organizers over the incident. “Pretty soon, the owners who run the juggalos will be bankrupt,” she said on her Twitter feed.
Levi Johnston is apparently on a quest to get fame any way he can, no matter how embarrassing the vehicle. The infamous young man who knocked up Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol has already tried numerous ways to keep his 15 minutes of fame going. Including, of course, that ridiculous Playgirl photo spread and that disgusting pistachio nut commercial.
Now Levi Johnston will reportedly be starring in a new reality show featuring him trying to become mayor of his hometown of Wasilla, Alaska. Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor’s Office, in production by Stone and Co., will document the unwed father’s attempt to run for political office and pathetic quest to be famous in his own right.
“[Levi Johnston] will give us a real inside look into who he is as a father, a skilled hunter, an avid dirt biker and his journey down the road of small-town politics… right after he gets his high school diploma,” Stone and Co. said about the show.
Of course, Levi Johnston doesn’t even have that high school diploma yet and has absolutely no political experience at all. Apparently, banging the daughter of an almost vice-president is enough of a resume for Johnston.
Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin announced they had gotten back together and were engaged last month. Palin, however, allegedly called the whole thing off after seeing Johnston in a video mocking her family. We just wish Levi would give it up already. Some people are just not meant to be stars, especially people who get famous in the first place just for having unprotected sex.
Oscar-winning actress Patricia Neal, 84, died Sunday at her home in Edgartown, Massachusetts. Neal received a Best Actress Academy Award in 1964 for her role as housekeeper Alma in Hud opposite Paul Newman. She was also nominated for an Oscar in 1968 for The Subject was Roses, but lost out to co-winners Katharine Hepburn and Barbra Streisand.
Patricia Neal began her film career in 1949 at the age of 21 starring with Ronald Reagan in John Loves Mary. She starred in such films as The Day the Earth Stood Still, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and The Fountainhead.
Neal suffered a series of strokes in 1965, a year after winning the Best Actress Oscar for Hud. She was left paralyzed and unable to speak, but eventually recovered enough to return to the silver screen.
Her role in The Fountainhead was the beginning of a three year romance for Neal with co-star Gary Cooper. Cooper was married at the time and refused to leave his wife. Neal revealed later in a 1988 memoir that she became pregnant with his child and had an abortion.
Neal later married Charlie and the Chocolate Factory author Roald Dahl, with whom she had five children. They divorced after 30 years of marriage in 1983.
Although an official cause of death was not given, Neal was reportedly suffering from lung cancer when she died, according to People.
Taylor Swift‘s new single “Mine” has been released two weeks ahead of schedule due to a leak of the song onto the Internet. “Mine” is now available to download via iTunes and playing on radio nationwide.
A low-quality copy of “Mine” leaked to the Web on August 4. Swift’s record label quickly decided to do an immediate release of the official single to combat the leaked file. “Mine made it into the Top 40 on Billboard’s Top Country Songs just a few hours after being released.
Taylor Swift describes the news single as a reflection of her own love-life, saying that she has “developed this pattern of running away” when a relationship gets serious, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She says the song is about the hope of “finding someone who would make you believe in love and realize that it could work out.”
“Do you remember we were sitting there by the water?/ You put your arm around me for the first time/ You made a rebel of a careless man’s careful daughter/ You are the best thing that’s ever been mine,” Swift sings.
Swift will perform the new single during ABC’s CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock airing on September 1. Swift’s third album, Speak Now, is due to hit shelves in October.
Former executive producer Nigel Lythgoe has confirmed he will be returning to American Idol for the show’s upcoming 10th season. Lythgoe, executive producer and judge on So You Think You Can Dance, would also like to see former judge Paula Abdul return to the show.
“I still love Paula,” Nigel Lythgoe told Daily Variety. Paula Abdul is currently working on her own new dancing show on CBS, but Lythgoe would dearly like to get her back on American Idol too. “She’s signed to CBS, probably exclusively, but I’d recommend we have her in a heartbeat.”
Ellen DeGeneres recently announced she would not be returning to American Idol and rumor has it songwriter Kara DioGuardi might be out as well. Simon Cowell, of course, is already long out the door. Only Randy Jackson will remain to represent the original judging cast. We’d personally love to see Abdul back at the American Idol judges table too.
Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler and diva Jennifer Lopez are rumored to be working on deals with FOX to possibly come on board as American Idol judges. So far Lythgoe and FOX are keeping quiet about the rumors.
Lilly Allen is pregnant with her first child, a rep for the British singer confirmed in a press statement on Thursday. Allen, 25, and boyfriend Sam Cooper, 32, have been dating for just over a year. Allen has called Cooper –Â a “normal bloke” who owns a building company –Â “the love of my life.”

“Lily’s professional commitments will carry on as normal, including a scheduled performance at Big Chill this weekend.”
