Actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi were arrested in Montecito, California after they allegedly broke into their old house and were continuing to live there despite having sold the property in 2007. The new owner discovered the couple living in his guest house and called the police, who arrested the Quaids and removed them from the premises. After the arrest it was discovered that there had been some significant damage to the contents of the guest house, and allegedly the Quaids had also vandalized the property repeatedly. It’s kind of sad to hear of a once-successful actor sinking to these depths, but for anyone who’s seen the Vacation movies the Cousin Eddie parallels are staggering.
