Bombshell Discovery Documents Just Released In Casey Anthony Murder Case

UPDATE 11/07/08: Investigators Release Audio Interview Of George Anthony Testifying To Car Smell; Physically Ill- Listen Here It is highly unusual for audio discovery to be released to the general public in a murder case. Today, however, investigators released this shocking audio interview with George Anthony that is incredibly revealing.

Over 500 pages of shocking discovery documents in the Casey Anthony case, where Casey has been charged with the murder of her 3 year old daughter Caylee, were released by the Florida State Attorney’s office today. Among the stunning revelations are that when sheriff’s investigators questioned Casey’s father George nine days after Caylee was reported missing, George told them he had “bad vibes” the very first day he got his car back and smelled the smell in the trunk. The smell, he said as a former law enforcement officer, he knows and would never forget. George told investigators, “I don’t want to believe that I have, have raised someone and brought someone in this world that could do something to another person. I don’t want to believe that.” He also told them, “I, I, I believe that there’s someone dead back there and I hate to say the word human. Um, I hate to say that.”

Casey brags in the documents that authorities “won’t break her”, and that psychological tests given to her show that she is “mentally sound”. Brainiac! There goes any insanity defense! Mark Nejame, family spokesman, (who is currently getting torn a new one on Nancy Grace), allows that the Anthonys knew these docs would be coming out, and that this is the hell the family has been living. Now, he says, that the Anthonys are now joining with Texas Equusearch’s efforts to find Caylee’s remains.

The Attorney’s office released new interviews not previously seen by the public, including George and Cindy returning home to find their pool ladder leaning up against the pool. They had an argument about it, because they intentionally didn’t leave it that way because of Caylee. Also, Cindy Anthony met her husband George when he drove up the night Caylee was discovered missing, and said “We lost her”. “Who?” said George. “Caylee. We lost Caylee.”

George describes walking up to Casey’s car when it was in the impound lot and praying that he wouldn’t see find Caylee in the trunk of the car. He said when the trunk was opened, he saw a trash bag, and a basketball sized, not perfectly round stain.

Casey bragged to Department of Children’s Services workers who visited her to go over the allegations of maltreatment, inadequate supervision and threatened harm that were reported to DCF. Casey told them that she looked forward to telling her side of the story to someone other than her family and law enforcement. Cindy Anthony began talking then Casey stopped her, saying this was her chance to speak.

Casey went on to describe how she left her child with babysitter Zenaida Gonzales so she could work. She said despite what the sheriff’s office has reported, she is a seasonal worker at Universal Studios in the event department. When the investigator inquired about the babysitter, Casey Anthony said she couldn’t reveal more because of her criminal case.

She described how she met Caylee’s father in middle school and said his name was Eric. He and his family moved to Kentucky where he later died in a car crash. She refused to give his last name to protect his family’s privacy. Casey incredibly tells the DCF that she wants to have a new vocation: finding missing children. The DCF report says that the office feels that “Caylee is critically at risk.”

Casey’s father George told investigators that “Casey lives on the edge, lies, and then piles on more. She’s very good with the computer.” WTF TV in Florida is claiming that IF Caylee is dead, it was an accident, and probably an overdose by a sedative. Like chloroform?!

Gun Found Near Scene Of Jennifer Hudson’s Family Murders

Police found a potential murder weapon today in a vacant lot just around the corner from where little Julian King, Jennifer Hudson’s 7 year-old murdered nephew was found. Julian was found shot in the white Suburban SUV stolen from the Hudson home. The SUV was found on the West Side of Chicago, very near where William Balfour, the only person of interest in the case, was taken in to custody.

50 officers from the police academy did a systematic grid search, some at the Hudson house, some near where the SUV found. The pistol was found by one of 50 police academy recruits who were searching parts of the city for possible evidence in the case, Deputy Chief Nick Roti said.

The recruit spotted the weapon in the thick shrubbery of a vacant alley around the corner from where the SUV was found, Roti said. No word on the caliber. News video showed it was a gun, police are still just calling it a “weapon”. Reports indicate a bullet was still in the SUV when it was found, and shell casings were reportedly found in the house. Reports say the family members were killed by a .45 caliber weapon. Bullets may have been found still inside the victims, but authorities haven’t released that information yet.

Ballistics will have to be run to see if any bullets came from the gun that was found. “Striation marks” will be on the bullet which give the exact “fingerprint” of the gun. You put ammo into the gun, fire it, and compare the bullets from the crime to see if the “fingerprints” match.

Police say there is an emerging theory that the gunman may have had help in committing the murders. How did one person shoot Jennifer’s mom and brother, grab a child, and drive the two cars that were missing from the home? One vehicle, the teal sedan, was found with William Balfour. The SUV, as we know, was found early Monday morning on the same side of town where William was found.

Last night, William Balfour’s mother made some strong allegations against Julia and Jason Hudson. She said Jason dealt drugs from the house, and that Julia had planted drugs on him. In 2004, Greg King, little Julian’s dad, and Jason Hudson did get caught in a drug deal. Both men allegedly sold crack cocaine to a registered informant. Cops then raided the same home where Jason and his mother were murdered last week. According to records, Jason, Gregory and Julia were all arrested. Jason got off, Julia got off, Greg did time. Cops say Jason and Gregory were affiliated with the gang, Gangster Disciples That’s the same gang that William Balfour, the “person of interest” was in.

Balfour’s mother insists her son is innocent, that he loved Julia, Julian and the whole Hudson family. However, neighbors say the domestic problems between Juila and William were common. William violated his parole from his prison sentence twice, but wasn’t sent back to jail. William reportedly threatened to kill the family on numerous occasions. Julia did not believe he was serious. Was this an act of revenge? Was this a drug deal gone bad? There are still so many unanswered questions. Ballistic tests may shed a lot of light on this tragic case.

Hudson Murders: William Balfour Should’ve Already Been In Jail

William Balfour, the convicted felon suspected in the Chicago murders of Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew was arrested on a drug charge in June, but authorities did NOT return him to prison on what was a CLEAR parole violation. Under the strict rules of the state’s parole program, Balfour could have gone back to prison JUST for the arrest.

The AP reports that officials who reviewed the cocaine-possession case against William Balfour, determined “the evidence that was presented during that time wouldn’t have necessarily warranted a violation.” WTF?! Cocaine possession! We’re not talking about a first-time offender here! Yep, they let him just waltz out of it.

Balfour missed a meeting with his parole officer on the day that the murdered bodies of Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother were found. Balfour reportedly told the agent he was “baby-sitting on the West Side of Chicago.” The agent said he thought he heard a child in the background during the call. Balfour was taken into custody later Friday.

Balfour’s parole records indicate a parole supervisor declined to issue a warrant to revoke Balfour’s parole after Chicago police arrested him June 19 for possession of cocaine. “Per supervisor … no warrant. Agent to monitor offender, impose sanctions.” Great monitoring.

In Balfour’s case, a violation could have locked him up until May 2009. Even minus a day off for each day of good behavior, he still wouldn’t have been out before mid-December at the earliest.

The parole history report on Balfour also shows that a woman at Balfour’s home refused to open the door during an agent’s visit on Aug. 27. The woman told the agent during the 8:30 a.m. visit that Balfour was at work but Balfour’s boss told the agent he wasn’t due until noon. The report said: “Agent heard other people inside the host site and suspected maybe suspicious activities going on,” Agent will be following up for a possible warrant on parolee.” Guess what. No warrant for parole was issued.

So basically, the authorities had at least 2 CHANCES to put William Balfour back in prison, for good reasons. They failed to do so. If they HAD, 3 beloved people might be alive today. Balfour is the only person of interest in the slaying of Darnell Donerson, Jason Hudson, and Julian King…Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother, and 7 year old nephew. Nice work, guys.

Jennifer Hudson’s Mother And Brother Found Shot Dead In Chicago

Amber Alert Issued For Julian King, Age 7- Nephew of Jennifer Hudson

UPDATE: quotes a source in Chicago saying that the murders were committed as an act of revenge. “The Hudson family kicked someone out of a house. He said he’d be back to kill them.” Police are still calling the murders “a domestic dispute.” Suspect William Balfour’s address that is registered with authorities, is the address of Jennifer’s mother’s home.

A horrible tragedy is unfolding today as the mother and brother of American Idol alum, singer, and Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudsonwere found shot to death inside their home this afternoon. To make things even worse, Jennifer’s 7 year old nephew, Julian King, is missing. He is 5 feet tall, 135 pounds, wearing a polo shirt with the number “5” on it, and khaki pants. He is suspected to have been taken by a man named William Balfour. An Amber Alert has been issued for a 1994 white Suburban with Illinois license plate number X584859 AND/OR A teal/green Chrysler Concord four-door with a left front headlight hanging out that is scratched all along its left side. The Chrysler is displaying temporary tags of 332K823.

William Balfour, 27, is Jennifer Hudson’s brother-in-law; her sister Julia is little Julian’s mom, but it isn’t clear if Balfour is Julian’s father. Balfour is pictured below. He is said to now be wearing braids in his hair, and could possibly be driving on the North Side of Chicago

Police have confirmed Hudson’s mother, Darnell Hudson Donnerson, 57; and brother, Jason S. Hudson, 29 are the deceased. The home where the bodies were discovered is at 7019 S. Yale in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood, on the South Side of Chicago. Property records indicate the home belongs to Darnell Donerson.

A cousin who lives nearby found Jennifer’s mother shot dead in the living room of the home, backed out of the house and called police. When police arrived, they also found Jennifer’s brother Jason shot dead upstairs.

William Balfour is listed as on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections after he spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle. He was sentenced to seven years in prison in 1999. He’s 5-foot-5 and weighs 147 pounds. He is considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS. If you see him, call 911, do not approach. Balfour’s picture is below.

Neighbors did report hearing gunshots in the neighborhood earlier this morning. The bodies were found around 3pm this afternoon. Police are saying the deaths are suspected to be the result of “domestic abuse.” More details on this tragedy as they become available. Please pray for Jennifer, her family, and for the safe rescue of 7-year-old Julian King.

DNA Results Released In Casey Anthony Case

Prosecutors released damning, DNA forensic test results this morning from tests completed by the FBI and Oak Ridge National Laboratory labs in connection with the Casey Anthony case. Casey, 22, has been charged with killing her 3 year old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony. There is a match between a hair from a deceased person and a hair from Caylee’s hairbrush. This is critical evidence that little Caylee is, indeed dead. Caylee’s body has not been found yet, but mom Casey has been indicted on a first-degree murder charge alleging the child is dead.

The FBI lab tested items found in the trunk of Casey’s Pontiac Sunfire, including a hair strand, pieces from a tire cover and the trunk liner.

Here are some of the findings:
* The root of the hair showed signs of decomposition. A comparison to hair taken from Caylee’s brush and DNA taken from Casey showed that neither the mother nor the daughter could be excluded as the source of the hair. * Pants, skirts and shirts taken from Anthony’s home showed no signs of hair with decomposing roots. * Residues of chloroform were found on a tire cover in the trunk. * A hair fragment was found in the label on the handle of a shovel Anthony borrowed from a neighbor in mid-June, about the time Caylee is supposed to have disappeared. The hair was too small for microscopic comparison but DNA analysis found it did not belong to Casey Anthony or Caylee. * No fingerprints were found on the shovel.

Air samples and pieces of carpet from the trunk were sent Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee to determine whether there was signs of decomposition. Oak Ridge is home to the infamous “Body Farm”, and has been a leader in forensic testing for a very long time. The lab has been doing this type (air sample analysis) of research since 2002 and has developed the Decompositional Odor Analysis database.

Here are some of the results from the Oak Ridge Lab:
*Tests found five compounds consistent with body decomposition. Tests found evidence of decomposition on a hair strand found in the trunk, described as “microscopically similar” to one found on Caylee’s hair brush. The test showed early decomposition products and five major compounds associated with human decomposition. * A portion of the total odor signature from the trunk “is consistent with a decompositional event that could be from human origin.” * There appeared to “an unusually large concentration of chloroform — far greater than what is typically seen in human decomposition.” * However, the results do not rule out the “remote possibility” that a variety of products and materials …items that were NOT in the trunk when vehicle was discovered, could have affected the overall chemical signature.

Casey is being held without bail in the Orange County Jail. She has insisted that her daughter was taken by a baby sitter who has not been found.

Did Casey Anthony Make Her Own Chloroform?

Orlando News Channel 9 is reporting that SOMEONE was looking up recipes to cook up the chemical chloroform on sociopath Casey Anthony’s home computer, around time her 3 year old daughter Caylee disappeared. If you’ve been following the case, you know that high levels of the deadly substance chloroform were found in the trunk of party-girl Casey’s car. Sheriff’s investigators have found that someone on Casey Anthony’s computer was researching not WHERE to buy chloroform, but recipes on how to make it yourself…which is apparently pretty easy. Bleach, or pool shock, acetone and ice are all you need. Do NOT go up in the kitchen and make this stuff. It is highly unstable and very deadly.

Chloroform isn’t supposed to be sold to the general public, but it IS sold on the ‘net, and it’s not that hard to buy. Buying it on the net, however, WOULD leave a paper-trail. When you Google “how do you make chloroform,” more than a million websites are listed with instructions. On one of the first ones, there is an explicit warning about chloroform, calling the chemical extremely dangerous and unpredictable. The warning says to NEVER allow children anywhere near it. Hmmm.

Channel 9’s news analyst Bill Sheaffer says it’s

“Another piece of evidence in the circumstantial chain. It’s significant because, if Casey made the chloroform as opposed to buying it, she could have been trying to cover her tracks. Buying it would have generated some sort of record. This way certainly, she could argue, ‘Alright, I was interested in looking into how to make chloroform, but I never did.’ Or, ‘That’s why you smelled chloroform in the trunk area, because I was experimenting in making it,'”

Right. Somehow Casey doesn’t seem like a big chemistry buff…she didn’t even graduate from high school. The question for Casey’s potential jurors will be…why would Casey buy, OR make chloroform? Last week, the Orange County grand jury heard from several witnesses, including the FBI and one of the sheriff’s computer investigators. Reportedly that information is going to be released to the public very soon. One theory being tossed about is that psycho Casey drove around for 11 DAYS with Caylee’s body in her trunk. That would certainly explain the many reports of the car’s horrible stench.

Things are moving rapidly since Casey was arrested for the third time, and this time was charged with Caylee’s murder. Casey Anthony’s defense attorney is going to start questioning his first prosecution witnesses in the case next Thursday. Some who will be taking the stand are an employee at the Amscot on Goldenrod and Highway 50 where Casey abandoned her car in late June, employees from Johnson’s Wrecker Service, the company that towed the car from the Amscot, and Casey’s ex-boyfriend Tony Lazzaro. What do they all have in common? They all had access to Casey’s car. (What else do they all have in common? No real motive for killing Caylee.)

Sociopath, selfish, golddigger, party-girl Casey needs to get served JUSTICE. And that’s a recipe only the jury can cook up.

Casey Anthony Indicted For Murder By Grand Jury

UPDATE UPDATE: Orlando 6 News Reports That Audio Of Part Of Grand Jury Deliberations Were Accidentally Broadcast During Deliberations. Great. Jose Baez is gonna be all over this like white on rice. CNN affiliate News 6 notified the court as soon as they discovered the administrative mistake, the jury stopped, and didn’t resume until the problem was fixed. Media have been warned that if they spill anything they may have heard, they will be prosecuted. Still, a BIG screwup on the part of the Orange County Court.

UPDATE: Casey Anthony’s Indictment Has Been Unsealed- Here Are The Charges From The Grand Jury:

Casey faces seven charges, including first degree murder. The other charges are as follows:
– One count aggravated child abuse
– One count aggravated manslaughter of a child
– Four counts of providing false info to a law enforcement officer

The first degree murder count carries with it the possibility of the death penalty or life in prison. Click here for more detail on each count.

An Orange County, Florida grand jury has issued a sealed murder indictment in the disappearance of 3-year-old Caylee Anthony and mom Casey Anthony was arrested shortly afterwards. The decision came after the grand jury heard more than six hours of testimony from a half-dozen witnesses, including Anthony’s father, George Anthony, and sheriff’s Detective Yuri Melich, who is heading up the investigation. They heard from police and cadaver dog handlers. The grand jury deliberated for about half an hour before returning the indictment.

Soon after the announcement the Orange County Sheriff’s department confirmed that Casey IS under arrest. Casey waited Tuesday away from the courthouse in an unknown location. Her attorney, Jose Baez, had said she would turn herself in if she was the person indicted.

22 year-old Casey has been called by investigators a suspect in Caylee’s disappearance, but so far had only been charged with child neglect, lying to investigators and some fraud and theft counts.

Shortly before the announcement, Casey Anthony was handed off to someone by her mom. In a bizarre twist, after Casey left her attorney’s office with her mom Cindy Anthony, the switch happened. They were then pulled over by unmarked Orange County felony officers under a bridge. The women were near an SUV that belonged to the Orange County Sheriff’s department. Cindy and Casey were pulled over after Casey apparently failed to return home by the 4pm time required by her home confinement agreement. Was Casey trying to make a last-ditch run for it?

Casey was placed into the officer’s SUV, taken away to the Orange County Sheriff’s department, and is expected to be booked into the Orange County jail directly.

Lawson Lamar, State Attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida, spoke in court shortly after the judge returned. Attorney Lamar stated:

“The spring term of the Orange County Grand Jury has listened to evidence today,” Lamar said. “And has heard evidence from scientific sources including the FBI laboratory, the Oak Ridge laboratory, an FBI agent and quite a bit of work done by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. “The investigation contains intricate forensics that are on the cutting edge of science. We are used to complex forensics and are ready to manage this evidence at trial.

They have considered the evidence; they have deliberated and have returned an indictment. In this indictment, the named defendant is not in custody, and for that reason, this need be sealed if your honor will so order until such time as this person is reduced to custody. Count one is a capital count and that being the case, and the State averring that the evidence is compelling, we would ask the Court to set bond at no bond on count one and issue a capeas.”

Casey seems to be sort of crying at the press conference held by her attorney, Jose Baez, although on the video there are NO ACTUAL TEARS. This is the MOST emotion she has shown since the beginning of this case. Sociopath Casey isn’t “crying” for Caylee, she’s crying for herself. At the impromptu media briefing, Baez said “She’s not running from this. She’s doing her best to stand strong, to stand up to the powers that are working against her. And they threw the kitchen sink at her a long time ago.” WHATEVER.

Casey’s poor father George was very emotional before testifying. He clutched a “Find Caylee” binder in his folded arms. “This is going to be very hard for me to do. The focus has always been on my granddaughter and always will be. I love my daughter, I love my wife, I love my son,” Anthony said.

He asked for the public to keep his family, especially Caylee, in their prayers. “If someone could take a moment out at 11 o’clock this morning and 11 o’clock tonight and just pray for her. That’s all I’m asking for. That’s all I can say.” This poor man has been through holy hell, and unfortunately, it isn’t close to being over. Snarkista is saying prayers for George too, who seems to be a good man, an honest man, and a man being put through something horribly unimaginable.

Casey will appear before a judge on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. ET. It’s about freakin’ time.

Casey’s latest mugshot is below…and looks exactly like all of her previous mugshots. This is a sociopath. No more emotion at being charged with Murder 1, than when she was charged with child neglect, or forging checks. If we didn’t know the date, we wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
