When J.K Rowling appeared on Oprah last month, she hinted that there may be a few more Harry Potter books in the works. Â This sent fans into a frenzy of joy, as it’s a big step forward from when Rowling was insisting that she’d never go back to the Potter scenarios ever again.
However, any future movies made from potential additions to the Harry Potter saga would probably not have the cast we all know and love, as Daniel Radcliffe has said that he’s not interested in continuing the role beyond Deathly Hallows. Â Although that’s sad for fans, it’s understandable that the poor guy would want to move on to something else. Â He’s been Harry Potter for about half his life.
After three months of waiting, we finally have another trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, the first half of the last installment of the Harry Potter movies. Â And the trailer certainly doesn’t disappoint – it looks as dark and ominous as the book, and although there are clearly a lot of special effects (as one expects from a movie about magic), there also seems to be a lot of focus on the story, so that’s a positive sign. Â I’m a little disappointed that they’ve split the movie into two, but that’s just because I’m cynical and I think the only reason they’ve done it is to milk profits out of us for another year. Â If they manage to keep the audience engaged throughout an entire two-part feature, then I’ll withdraw my complaint. Â It kind of makes you wonder, though, if they’ve forgotten that the original target audience was supposed to be children. Â The new, full-length trailer: Harry Potter trailer
