The Biggest Loser contestant Rebecca Meyer appeared on The Jay Leno Show Tuesday and dropped a bombshell. Meyer may have lost a lot of weight on The Biggest Loser before she was voted off, but she gained a boyfriend!
Turns out Rebecca Meyer is now dating fellow Biggest Loser contestant Daniel Wright, who was given a second chance on the show this year. We kind of saw that coming when she totally lost it the night Daniel was eliminated.
“Daniel was my best friend, is my best friend,” Meyer told Jay Leno, “and leaving the show we talked for like five, six-hour conversations and then, you know, he told me he had feelings.”
Looking like a movie star after her Biggest Loser makeover, Meyer said the two have a strong connection because they “have gone through the same thing. I mean, he’s gone through an even more intense version of it, and I fell in love with my best friend.”
Meyer and Wright aren’t the first couple to fall for each other because of The Biggest Loser. Former contestants Matt and Suzy Hoover met on the second season of Biggest Loser and married a year later. They now have two children.
We hope Rebecca and Daniel can find the same kind of happiness together!
