“David’s at home,” Goldsman told E! News. “He’s fine.” As for a report by RadarOnline.com that Hasselhoff was placed under a psychiatric hold at the hospital, Goldsman dismissed the rumor, saying, “I’m not sure where that information is coming from.”

Hasselhoff has a serious history of alcohol problems, including several hospital stays allegedly due to his ongoing drinking. In 2007, his daughter videotaped the Hoff in a drunken stupor crawling around on the floor and munching a hamburger. The video was later posted to YouTube, allegedly by the Hoff’s daughter in an attempt to shame her father into getting help. Hasselhoff actually accused his ex-wife, Pamela Bach, of leaking the video. She denied the allegation.

In related news, Pamela Bach was arrested Saturday night for driving under the influence near Van Nuys, CA. She was later released on her own recognizance.

Looks like this whole family really needs a serious intervention session, stat.

Hasselhoff was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday after reportedly suffering from a seizure. Hasselhoff’s daughter reportedly called 911. “Paramedics arrived at approximately 11:51 AM and later transported the [Hasselhoff] to a nearby hospital,” Los Angeles City Fire Department Erik Scott said in a statement.

David Hasselhoff was hospitalized in September due to alcohol poisoning and appeared to be drunk as a skunk while presenting at the MTV Europe Music Awards earlier this month. Hasselhoff’s daughter famously posted a video in 2007 of her father drunk and rolling around on the floor eating a hamburger as a plea for him to get help for his alcoholism.

No word so far on whether alcohol contributed to Hasselhoff’s latest collapse.

A friend of Pamela then put in a call to 911 and paramedics shortly arrived to cart David Hasselhoff off to the hospital. The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed a person was picked up at Hasselhoff’s address and taken to the hospital, but refused to release a name. The actor was reportedly released from the hospital Sunday night.

This is hardly the first time David Hasselhoff has been hit in the face with the drunk. The America’s Got Talent judge and former Baywatch star has reportedly been hospitalized over a dozen times for drinking way, way too much. Sadly, it also isn’t the first time his daughter has had to clean up his mess.

In 2007, a video shot by Hayley Hasselhoff of her drunken dad ended up on the Net. The video showed an obviously wasted Hasselhoff lying on the floor eating a hamburger while his daughter begged him to get help.

Hayley posted the video online in an effort to shame her dad into getting help. Too bad Hasselhoff apparently didn’t get the message. Sadly for Hayley, it seems her dad cares way more about his drinking than his daughter.

* Update: David Hasselhoff’s rep released a statement to TMZ.com saying the America’s Got Talent judge was not drunk when he was taken to the hospital. Allegedly, he was just messed up from a combination of drugs for an ear infection and for his alcohol addiction. Yeah, sure, okay – if you say so…
