Demi Moore 911 Call Released: Actress Semi-Conscious, Convulsing

The Demi Moore 911 call has been released to the public, but portions of the recording have been censored to comply with federal medical privacy laws at the recommendation of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office. Actress Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital on Monday after falling ill during a party at her home in Beverly Hills.

In the Demi Moore 911 call, a woman tells the emergency operator that the actress “smoked something. It’s not marijuana, but it’s similar to incense and she seems to be having convulsions of some sort.” The woman also tells the 911 call operator that Moore is “semi-conscious, barely, she’s convulsing” and has “been having some issues lately with some other stuff, but I don’t know what she’s been taking or not.”

Demi Moore 911 Call Censored To Remove Drug Information

The Demi Moore 911 call will reportedly be edited to remove selected personal medical information about the star before it is released to the public, a spokesman for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office said Thursday. Demi Moore was hospitalized on Monday after she allegedly went into convulsions at her home during a party.

Actress Demi Moore was reportedly hosting a birthday party at her home in Los Angeles near Benedict Canyon when she allegedly collapsed and began having seizure-like symptoms. According to TMZ.com, paramedics called to the scene were told the G. I. Jane star had been inhaling whippets or ‘whip-its’ (which contain nitrous oxide) before she starting having convulsions. Moore was treated at the scene and then transported by ambulance to Sherman Oaks Hospital.
