Duets TV Show 2012 Week 3: Songs That Inspire Performances (VIDEOS)

On Thursday night, the Duets 2012 contestants performed ‘Songs That Inspire’ with celebrity duet partners Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke, John Legend and Jennifer Nettles. After two weeks of just performances, tonight was the first night one of the contestants would finally have to go home.

While we had a hard time hearing some of the performances due to rather lousy sound production, there were definately a few Duets TV show 2012 competitors that stood out tonight. There were also some fail moments, and frankly I was mostly in agreement when it came to who ended up on the bottom this week on Duets 2012.

Duets 2012 Recap Week 2: Who Is The One That You Want?

On Duets 2012 Thursday night, celebrity mentors Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke will take the stage to sing ‘classic duets’ with their Duets contestant partners. Performances tonight will include Jennifer Nettles and JRome singing “Your The One That I Want” from Grease, and Kelly Clarkson and Jordan Meredith singing “Misery Loves Company”. Join us for our Duets 2012 live recap of the week 2 performances when we find out if this competition will finally start making any kind of sense.

Duets 2012 Week 2: Can Kelly Clarkson Pull Her Partners From The Bottom?

On Duets 2012 Thursday night, celebrity mentors/judges Jennifer Nettles, Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke and John Legend will perform ‘classic duets’ with their chosen Duets 2012 contestant partners. The big question for me this week is whether or not Kelly Clarkson‘s two Duets 2012 partners will keep riding in the bottom two, despite at least one of them obviously belonging in the top of the pack.

This week on Duets 2012, the contestants and their musical celebrity partners will be singing so-called ‘classic’ duets. While I agree that some of the songs planned for the night are indeed classics, a few of them seem kind of a squeeze into that ‘classic’ category — such as Kelly Clarkson and Jordan Meredith performing “Misery Loves Company”.
