On Dancing With the Stars All Stars 2012 Tuesday night, the top five couples will be sliced down to a final top three. Strong odds are that Kelly Monaco & Val Chmerkovskiy and Emmitt Smith & Cheryl Burke are the two DWTS All Stars couples most likely to go home tonight, but the voters have defied all predictions for the elimination results before.

The Dancing With the Stars All Stars results show this evening will feature a guest appearance from the UK boyband The Wanted performing “I Found You” and “Glad You Came”. The AT&T Spotlight Performance will feature 21-year-old dancer Parris Goebel, who developed the hip-hop dance style polyswagg and is a fast rising choreography star. Plus, former guest judge Paula Abdul will return to DWTS to perform in a Macy’s Stars of Dance routine featuring the pros and some guest dancers.

RECAP: To begin the show this evening, Len Goodman says the judges want to see an encore of Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff dancing the Rumba.

Next up we have our first results for the evening and we will learn which couple will be the first to move on to the top three. And the first team through is… Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough!

On the AT&T Spotlight Performance tonigt, the last of the season, we have 21-year-old New Zealand dancer Parris Goebel with her self-created ‘polyswagg’ style.

Next up we have UK boyband The Wanted with a mash-up of their hits “I Found You” and “Glad You Came”. Gods save us from the boybands!

Now we get to more results, which is what we really care about, right? This time we will learn which of the remaining couples will be the first to be eliminated on Dancing With the Stars All Stars tonight.

And that is… Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff! Apolo will not be a champion this time around.

This week on Dancing With the Stars All Stars 2012, fans will have to say goodbye to two of the celebrity dancers and their pro partners. Double elimination weeks are always kind of a bummer watching two people go home on Dancing With the Stars 2012 All Stars instead of just one. They are also sometimes quite exciting though, as the doubled pressure on the voters to save their favorites can lead to unexpected and even shocking eliminations.

Predicting this week’s Dancing With the Stars All Stars double elimination results was really quite the challenge. If you crunch the numbers and look at the past history of fan votes, it seems likely that Kirstie Alley may finally be one of those eliminated on DWTS All Stars tonight. Still, she has surprised us in the past by surviving against all odds.

Figuring out who will be the second person to go home on Dancing With the Stars 2012 All Stars this week was a bit more difficult. Kelly Monaco seems the easy choice considering her inconsistent scores and somewhat weak fan base. However, this could easily be one of those weeks we end up with a “shocking” elimination of a higher-ranked competitor. We learned in the last elimination, courtesy of Sabrina Bryan, that landing perfect scores will not keep you from going home right afterward.

To keep us entertained while we wait for the Dancing With the Stars All Stars week 8 elimination results this week will be Kylie Minogue, accompanied by dancers Kym Johnson and Tristan MacManus, and Ne-Yo.

RECAP: The Dancing With the Stars elimination results show for week 8 kicks off tonight with a performance from Kylie Minogue of “The Locomotion” from her Abbey Road album.

Now we have the first results and our first couples safe for the evening are… Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani and… Shawn Johnson & Derek Hough. Well deserved in both cases! Whew. Glad to see there won’t be any shocking elimination of either of these two couples.

Next up for the performances tonight we have the cast of Newsies for Macy’s Stars of Dance.

Before we finally get to more results, we have another guest performance. This time it is Ne-Yo singing “Let Me Love You Until You Learn To Love Yourself”, which is quite the mouthful of a title for a song.

Here we go with our first elimination of the evening and it looks like fan support is just not going to get this celebrity through this time. The first couple to be eliminated tonight on Dancing With the Stars All Stars is… Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. It’s been a good run Kirstie!

For my Dancing With the Stars 2012 prediction for what would happen on the elimination results show on Tuesday night, I thought it would end up being Jaleel White and Kym Johnson, and Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, in the bottom two. However, I did think it was possible that Roshon Fegan could end up in the bottom with Gilbert, although I thought he should be safe after his great performance in the team dance Monday night. Either way, I still thought it would be Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy who be voted off Dancing With the Stars 2012 this week.

So how did my predictions pan out? How did yours? Let’s move right along to those results and find out!

The Dancing With the Stars 2012 elimination results show for week 7 takes place on Tuesday night and this will be the last week the judges will make the final decision about who goes home. Making a Dancing With the Stars prediction about who will get the boot on Tuesday seems deceptively easy this time around, but those wily voters have surprised us before.

I’ve made my own prediction for who will get voted off in the Dancing With the Stars elimination results tonight, but I also want to hear what you think, so don’t forget to leave your own DWTS predictions in the comments section below.

There are three celebrity cast members I think are possibly in danger this week in my Dancing With the Stars 2012 predictions based on the current leaderboard rankings and the performances from Monday night. The three couples I think are in danger also happen to be the three ranked last on the current DWTS 2012 leaderboard:

1. Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas – 227 total points
2. William Levy and Cheryl Burke – 217 total points
 3. Maria Menounos and Derek Hough – 213 total points
 4. Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd – 212 total points
 4. Jaleel White and Kym Johnson – 207 total points
 6. Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower – 206 total points
 7. Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy — 184 total points

At this point on Dancing With the Stars 2012, I think it is a good bet to put Katherine Jenkins, William Levy, Maria Menounos and Donald Driver in the safe category this week without hesitation. All four DWTS 2012 cast members have consistently ranked high in the scores and given great performances the past few weeks and it would be a shock to see any of them end up on the bottom with the voters this week. Of course, no one expected Sherri Shepherd to get voted off Dancing With the Stars 2012 when she did either, so there is no guarantee!

With those four safe, that leaves Jaleel White, Roshon Fegan and Melissa Gilbert left in the bottom. My Dancing With the Stars 2012 prediction for the week 7 elimination results is that Jaleel White and Melissa Gilbert will be the ones who end up in the bottom two on Tuesday night. If it had not been for Roshon’s stand out performance in the team dance on Monday night, I would have put him in the bottom two. However, I think the young Disney star’s admirable effort on DWTS last night will nudge him just a bit higher up the totem pole over Jaleel White. I could easily be wrong on this one though, so I’ll go ahead and admit that right now!

On Tuesday night’s Dancing With the Stars 2012 elimination results show for week 7, it will be the last time the bottom two will face off in a Dance Dual to determine who the judges will pick to go home. For my Dancing With the Stars 2012 prediction this week, I think there is only one outcome from a Dance Dual between Melissa Gilbert and Jaleel White. I think the judges will choose to send home Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Actually, even if it did end up being Melissa Gilbert against Roshon Fegan, I still think the judges would pick Gilbert to go home.

Thus, my Dancing With the Stars 2012 prediction for elimination for week 7 is Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The only way I don’t see that happening is if somehow the voters go crazy about keeping Gilbert around and manage to raise her up out of the bottom two this week, but I think that would be something of a miracle should that happen.

In my Dancing With the Stars 2012 predictions for this week’s elimination results show, I guessed that it would be Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus who would be sent home tonight after probably ending up in the bottom two with Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower.

This week’s Dancing With the Stars 2012 leaderboard scores actually had Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus in last place with Melissa Gilbert and Makskim Chmerkovskiy only a few points above them in next to last place. However, I felt that Melissa Gilbert had a stronger fan base going for her than Roshon did and so she would not end up in the bottom two this week.

Of course, there was also that pesky rumor that there might be a Dancing With the Stars 2012 double elimination for Motown week… If that was going to be the case, I had predicted that both Gladys Knight and Roshon Fegan would go home.

Now it’s time to see if my Dancing With the Stars predictions for this week were right, or if I was totally out in left field about who got voted off Dancing With the Stars 2012 in Tuesday’s elimination results show!

For tonight’s opening number, Peta Murgatroyd and Val Chmerkovskiy dance a steamy number to “Let’s Get It On” and then join the full dance troupe for a performance to “Signed, Sealed, and Delivered.”

Last week in the Dancing With the Stars elimination results, it was not very surprising when Gavin DeGraw and Katrina Smirnoff were eliminated. The two had been ranked very low in the standings since the beginning of the season and they showed little sign of improving much more. I personally think they should have been voted off Dancing With the Stars 2012 the week before instead of Sherri Shepherd, but the voters will do what they do.

Naturally I have my own prediction for who will get voted off in the Dancing With the Stars elimination results tonight, but I always love to be disagreed with. You can also make fun of me later if I get it wrong by posting snarky comments about my DTWS elimination prediction for week 6 and how you totally were right and I sucked.

Obviously, however, the voters have their own opinions and they don’t always match with the judges!

After watching the Dancing With the Stars 2012 cast perform on Motown night this week, there appears to be two couples who really look like they deserve to be the ones going home this week. Not only were their performances on DWTS 2012 on Monday night very weak, but both couples have been consistently ranked near or at the bottom of the Dancing With the Stars 2012 leaderboard rankings by the judges.

So based purely on the judges’ scores and their performances Monday night, my Dancing With the Stars 2012 predictions for who would go home this week would be:

Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus (single elimination)

Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy (double elimination)

However, there are several other factors to consider in making a Dancing With the Stars 2012 prediction this week. First, there is the rumor that there might just be a double elimination this week. So we could end up with two DWTS 2012 cast celebrities going home in this round. Second, we also have to factor in the fickle nature of the voters, who don’t always agree with the judges and tend to vote more out of favoritism than strictly on the skill of the dancers or their performances on the show this week.

Lastly, we have to consider the twist that allows the judges to basically pick who will be eliminated on Dancing With the Stars 2012 this week. The viewers may decide who they want to get voted off, but the lowest ranked celebrities will still have to do a dance-off for the judges to determine who was eliminated on Dancing With the Stars 2012 this time around.

With all that in mind, I am going to have to make a guess at my Dancing With the Stars elimination results prediction for week 6 as coming down to a near tie between Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus and Roshon Fagen and Chelsie Hightower. Now, Roshon Fagen and Chelsie Hightower are ranked higher in the judges’ scores than Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, but the voters don’t seem to like them. For some reason, they do seem to have a fondness for Melissa Gilbert. So I could definately see a Dance Dual on Tuesday nigth coming down to Gladys versus Roshon. If that happens, my Dancing With the Stars 2012 prediction for elimination this week would be:

Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus (single elimination)

Roshon Fagen and Chelsie Hightower (double elimination)

Any way you slice it, I would be quite surprised if Gladys Knight manages to make it through to next week, even after her bump in the spotlight on Motown night.

Going into Tuesday night’s Dancing With the Stars 2012 elimination results show, the difference between the top and the bottom of the DWTS 2012 leaderboard scores is currently a very wide margin of over 40 points. From the Dancing With the Stars scores from the judges so far, it seems fairly obvious who should be safe and who is in danger of going home, but the voters have previously shown this season several times that they don’t always agree with what the judges think.

Here is the current Dancing With the Stars 2012 leaderboard rankings as of week 6:

1. Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas – 173 total points
2. William Levy and Cheryl Burke – 164 total points
3. Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd – 159 total points
4. (tie) Maria Menounos and Derek Hough – 156 total points
4. (tie) Jaleel White and Kym Johnson – 156 total points
6. Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower – 154 total points
7. Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy — 137 total points
8. Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus – 132 total points

With these scores in mind and after watching the Dancing With the Stars 2012 cast perform on Monday night, who do you think will be going home in the DWTS 2012 elimination results show Tuesday night?

This week on Dancing With the Stars 2012 was tough on the fans and the celebrities. Not only did we have a totally out of the blue elimination last week with Sherri Shepherd leaving far before her time, but the stars have also been plagued with numerous injuries over the past week. This left the fans worrying a great deal about their favorites, who might or might not actually end up competing this round and what might happen to them even if they did.

WARNING: DANCING WITH THE STARS 2012 SPOILERS AHEAD

First we had Maria Menounos with her cracked ribs and broken foot. Then we had Melissa Gilbert with whiplash and a mild concussion after slamming her head on the floor during the live DWTS 2012 performance show last week. Following that, we got reports that Latin heart-throb William Levy had hurt his ankle “pretty bad” in rehearsals over the weekend for this week’s show. Yikes!

Luckily, all the celebrities were able to perform on Monday night despite their injuries. In fact, William Levy absolutely killed it with his dance, landing in a first place tie with the judges for the night with Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas.

Not doing so well on Latin night, Dancing With the Stars 2012 cast members Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff, floundered in the bottom two spots with the judges. Gavin DeGraw and Melissa Gilbert are also the two DWTS 2012 cast members raked the lowest overall in the judges’ scores for the season.

So, if we were going to go by the scores, and whose performances were the worst on Latin night this week, it would have seemed clear to me that either Gavin DeGraw or Melissa Gilbert should go home. However, the voters have already proven they are unpredictable and it was really anyone’s guess who would actually end up in the bottom two.

Plus, this week, there was an additional twist because whoever did end up in the bottom two were forced to battle it out in a special dance-off for the judges. Whoever came out on top would end up with a pass through to the next round, and the other celebrity would be out the door in this week’s DWTS 2012 elimination results. So making a prediction for the one who got voted off Dancing With the Stars 2012 this time wasn’t easy!

To open up Tuesday night’s Dancing With the Stars 2012 with a bit of humor, the judges ask to see Maria Menounos and Derek Hough perform their salsa again. This time, however, Derek doesn’t lay one on Maria in the middle of the dance, he slaps his kisser on judge Carrie Ann Inaba instead!

With that bit of silliness out of the way, let’s get on to some results!

Really? Melissa Gilbert is safe this week? Even with sympathy votes for the neck brace, she so doesn’t deserve to be safe after her performances so far on DWTS 2012.

Gavin DeGraw and Jaleel White are the two celebrities left in jeopardy to battle it out in a dance-off for the judges. Jaleel actually looks pretty good out there but Gavin still looks stiff and uncoordinated.

The judges are voting… and it is unanimous…

Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff are eliminated (finally).

I have my own prediction for who will get voted off in the Dancing With the Stars elimination results tonight, but after watching Sherri Shepherd get thrown out last week against all predictions, who knows what will happen? If the current rankings and scores from last night actually mean anything, it seems clear who should get the boot in Tuesday’s Dancing With the Stars 2012 elimination results. Obviously, however, the voters have their own opinions and they don’t always match with the judges!

After watching the Dancing With the Stars 2012 cast perform on Latin night this week, there seems to clearly be three couples who are just not pulling their weight. They are the lowest ranked by the DWTS 2012 judges in cumulative scores and I just don’t see any of them improving all that much in the coming weeks. For once, my bottom three and the judges’ bottom three (based on the total scores for the season) actually match:

Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus
 Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
 Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff

Of the three couples, I personally feel that Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff have the worst track record. They have no chemistry, they often look like two trains going in opposite directions in the midst of a collision and Gavin DeGraw has about as much rhythm as a doorknob.

However, I think Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are almost as bad and their performance this week on Dancing With the Stars 2012 Latin night was just terrible. Gilbert could get a bit of sympathy voting considering she had to perform this week in a neck brace after whacking her head on the floor last week and suffering a concussion and whiplash. On the other hand, she look ridiculous dancing in that think and Maks didn’t look much better in all that hideous pink Monday night.

Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus aren’t good either, but Gladys gets a little more respect because she is the oldest contestant there and just can’t do some of the stuff the younger celebrities are doing.

So who is my Dancing With the Stars prediction for who will get voted off DWTS 2012 Tuesday night? Well, there is a new twist this week that complicates matters even further.

The two couples that end up put in the bottom two by the voters will have to face each other this week in a ‘dance-off’ for the judges. Instead of the voters getting to ultimately decide who gets the boot, it will be the judges who choose who is the winner of the dance-off and will get a pass through to next week. I am one of those people who think that is a load of BS and the voters should get to pick which person goes home without the DWTS 2012 judges interfering, but there you go.

I am going to predict that based on their performances last night on Dancing With the Stars 2012 and their past track records, it will be Gavin DeGraw and Melissa Gilbert in the bottom two, although the voters could go wacky again and we could end up with Gladys Knight down there, or Jaleel White… or who knows who.

Personally, I think if it does end up being either Gavin DeGraw or Melissa Gilbert versus anyone else in the bottom two, they will be the ones going home. If the two of them end up together in the bottom two and have to do a dance off, I think that is much harder to predict. I think the judges have been wanting to give both of them the boot since the beginning, but I think they are slightly less fond of Gavin DeGraw. Plus, Melissa Gilbert might get a bit of a pass because of that whole banging her head on the floor thing last week. So in a Gavin versus Melissa situation, I’m going to have to call it for Gavin to go home.

This week on Dancing With the Stars 2012 was all about Latin dances. The remaining DWTS 2012 cast celebrities had to get down and sexy with sambas, tangos and salsas. For some of them, it proved to be the perfect style of dance, while others floundered with the sultry steps and fell flat.

With the scores from tonight and the total scores looking the way they do, I would say the best Dancing With the Stars prediction for elimination on Tuesday night would be Gavin DeGraw and Karina Simirnoff, or possibly Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy if they don’t get a bit of sympathy voting for Gilbert’s injury. However, you really can’t predict anything for certain after seeing what the voters did to Sherri Shepherd last week out of the blue, so you never know exactly what will happen on the DWTS 2012 elimination results show!
